Lately, I'm seeing more and more "reign in" on Slashdot and I've got to say, I'm disappointed.

OMFG it's "rein in" seriously WTFBBQ
Research is to see what everybody else has seen, and think what nobody else has thought.

It's "reign" because everybody's watching Game of Thrones.
If you mean restrain, hold back, et cetera... (Score:2)
...or you're actually talking about controlling a team of horses, then yeah, it's supposed to be "rein".
But if you're talking about preferring to be Hell's sole and unchallenged ruler rather than serving in Heaven, then it's "reign in".
