Labor Union do not provide exclusively labor to companies. What they do is have the power of collective bargaining, job protection, safety - which is utterly different to being "exclusive provider of job".
You may confusing normal labor union, with hiring hall union (e.g. in construction/actors/voice actor). That is a widely different type of union. Most union are NOT hiring hall union.

The UK can wholly regulate US entity doing commerce in the UK on what they can or cannot do while selling to UK citizen, and their modality of information being saved UK data information for later access in UK.

Your point would be valid if we were speaking about navigation only. The reality is that the Mercator map is used everywhere, for politics, news, and education. And that is where the point of the new projection comes in.

Problem1 : You would need conduction (from each cpu/gpu in the server toward a radiator using cooling liquid for example) from the rack to a radiator.
Otherwise if you don't those 100kW would be dumped into very small surface of the GPU/CPU and small radiator they usually have.
At 300K blackbody radiance is ~450 W.m^-2 So you r calculation of the surface of the cylinder is OK, you would only need 222 m^2 to dissipate a blackbody at 300K of 100kW of heat. The problem is that the heat is not dumped into the cylinder directly, but would need to be conducted from the cpu/gpu radiator to the cylinder . And that's where the problem starts, as you would need almost certainly a liquid for the transport, and that brings a lot of issue itself (weight, pump failure, freezing/boiling etc...). And that's not even counting servicing & obsolescence.

IMO the feasability of this is near null zero enough to be disregarded as a tech bro stupid solution in wait of a problem.

The issue is too many people don't look at political party plans, they simply adopt a political party as their identity. They are not republican (or democrats!) because GOP propose plan with item 1,2,3, but rather because being republican is part of their identity. Once that happens and facts goes against that political party, it make the brain analyze it as an attack against identity, and use defensive reaction mechanism to protect identity, chief among them wholesale rejection of facts.

This is not only the republican which do that, but republican happens to be associated with right wing / authority / strength as an image (not necessarily a truth just an image) and far more likely currently to have the facts going against them.

They (conspiracy theorist from r/UFOs) take

1) a long period of time (the first "case" is from july 2023)
2) they take various profession and places mashed together
3) various situation mashed together (missing, suicided, murdered, one guy missing stating he did not want to live with his brain deteriorating etc...)
Then suddenly they find out there is a dozen such a case.

I have something like ~1.2 trillion times the number of routable addresses that the entire IPv4 space has. Not all are reachable, of course, just the services that need incoming access and they're each on their own isolated DMZ.

Forgot to add: if you enable IPv6, be sure to use the browser extension IPvFoo. It shows a small 4 or 6 in your URI bar to let you know what protocol you're connecting to. Once enabled, you'll see just how much stuff out there actually is IPv6.

Started the move about 18 months ago when I decided to get off my lazy ass. My ISP gives out a /56 prefix, so that lets me run 256 /64 subnets/VLANs in the house, currently there are ~10 in use. Everything get a GUA through SLAAC and I use RAs (Router Advertisements) to give ULAs to everything. Any external facing services get their own VLAN and /64 for the system(s) as needed. Firewall blocks all incoming as they usually do by default and I punch a hole for the external-facing systems. They can't reach back into the network, they only answer the phone. All the systems update DNS dynamically if the prefix or full address ever change.

I have an SSH bastion set up. In all this time there has not been a single SSH attempt from the internet. On IPv4 it was constant background noice.
For those legacy IPv4-only systems on the internet, I set up NAT64. I have an IoT VLAN and IoT 2.4 GHz wireless network that are only IPv4 because a lot of IoT network stacks are junk.

I'm still farting around with it, but man oh man, there's no way I'd go back to IPv4. It was one of the best moves I've done in ages.

No frankly, I keep saying people this is not a solution , citing a (IMO minor) negative effect. I am sorry, then what IS your solution ? Mass starvation ? Another modest proposal of eating the children ? If job are being replaced on a massive scale, then the government, responsible for the well being of those citizen OVER the well being of corps, will have to implement *something*. What do you suggest ? Ask people to dig hole in one shift and then the next alternating shift can fill it in, and vice versa ? If the government cannot implement UBI then *something* has to give in : either people mass dying, or another alternative to keep people alive. And if people don't have job because everybody replaceable by any type of AI and robot has been replaced, *who* has the money to buy anything whatsoever ?

In case AI and robot replace massively many job, UBI might not be the best solution, but so far I haven't seen anybody whatsoever propose a viable or morally acceptable alternative solution.
