Put your left hand and right hand into C and H, respectively. Wait. Minute.

Put both in the lukewarm.

No. Fucking pay attention to your mental biases. That's why science is a DISCIPLINE OF MIND.

The examples comparing prices are all comparing them to battery-backed systems that can continuously produce the rated power. The solar panels or wind turbines will be capable of far higher peak power that is used to charge the batteries. I have no idea whether any numbers being quoted here are accurate, but the posters are absolutely describing "base power" when quoting their prices.

Open source doesn't rely simply on users making code changes, it relies on a specific subset of users. Feature developers are users who are also coders and who are also able to get up to speed on the project and who are also skilled enough to implement it and are also able to navigate the politics of the project.

If the feature didn't get implemented, that person for the original implementation has probably already left the project long ago. In many cases because they weren't a supporter of the re-architecture.

It could be because a given feature-developer wanted the production release before they wanted that feature, which would sound plausible if it were one or two significant features left behind. But once you have to start counting the missing major functionality on more than one hand, that points more at the fundamentals of the re-architecture than personal feature-developer priorities.

Whenever I see this sort of statement, it means it's gone. If they could readily do it in a non-janky way, they'd have done it before release; the re-architecture was too fundamental to accommodate it. Particularly on an open source project, where nobody is forcing them to release on a specific schedule.

Hansson published another blog post[34] in July of 2026 comparing the Romani population of Copenhagen to Denmark's struggles with its wolf population growth, stating that "When wolves get out of control, you shoot them. Sorry misread your post. You described the backup interface as "something you will need" but I somehow thought you were saying that these plug in panels include it.

A cheap method that I think would work is to add an outlet to the plug-in panel which will continue working during a blackout (as long as the batteries and solar panel can supply power). Is that possible without adding much circuitry?

Sonos eventually owned up to the mistake, considered bringing back the old app again, then booted its CEO and marched its new leaders out to apologize profusely to win back the company's furious customers.
Now, Sonos says it has a brand-new app update, infused with lots of generative AI features.

So, instead of bringing back the things that customers wanted, they doubled down on shoving what nobody asked for. LOL. LMAO, even.
