PLEX is losing track of why they even have paying customers in the first place. My Smart TV does the multi-platforms content search quite well ,thank you very much. I no longer care for other platforms' content when I open PLEX; I want to browse and then stream my local content FAST and with no excuses for transcoding especially on LAN.

Private dental, mental, and prescription coverage, but you can go private for many doctors, too.

I use EQ virtual, but there are other apps that can basically do the same thing. It's illegal to see Ontario doctors for a fee, but it's perfectly fine to see doctors from any other province, and for $50 I can be seen in an hour or two. I also see clinics when I travel to the US - it's cheaper to pay the doctors to prescribe me medication there and fill it there than it is to fill it here. Plus, the clinics are willing to actually prescribe things like migraine medication and ADHD medication without simply telling me that I'll have to see a specialist, where I have to wait 3 months just to get an appointment.

My wife and I were both very early Gmail users (our lastname@gmail.com) and we both get a ton of accounts signup email this way. First, reset the passwords, and then go to lengths to lock them out of their own accounts. As the final blow, once you've modified all detail about their account, just change the account email address to something else entirely. The last step is to fend-off any recovery attempt. Even if they gave any details to customer service by phone (supposedly), by the time they do their old account has zero identifiable data that they can latch on to recover it.

Reimplementation also gives people the option to choose their own license. As developers, it's all too easy to succumb to "not invented here" syndrome, but there are sometimes very legitimate reasons to re-write things, even if they do exactly the same thing as existing solutions.

Evidently, there is some unwritten law that states that Geolocation by IP address shall override any and all set preferences by the user on their device, and ignore any possibility that barring or redirecting the user makes no sense.

I get a version of this periodically on Spotify, where I'm informed that the particular album or single I'm looking at can't be played because it isn't licensed to my region. And of course there's the small matter of my being IP-blocked from Pandora Radio for the same reason.

I ran into a particularly nasty geolocation issue back in late 2012, when I was informed that I couldn't access my National Lottery account because they no longer believed that I was accessing it from the UK. Went back and forth between them and my ISP (VirginMedia), with each blaming the other for the problem.

I've also heard of situations where people have found the books on their Kindles vanishing because they're holidaying in an area where said books aren't licensed.
