For the unsupported home Linux user, non-System-D variants of Linux are less "friendly" than, say Ubuntu/Ubuntu-Mate . What home-lusr will install something of  Dvuan-level difficulty when he/she can barely keep post-modern Ubuntu running ... just to avoid semi-invisible System-D ? Do not kid yourself .. for the non-pro casual  lusr  modern Linux is a royal bitch to admin ... under the best of circumstances.   Think you can just burn a new LIVE-usb or add a new SSD / WiFi port; think again! If it were not for free GOOGLE.ai support I could not use Linux W/WO system-D.

Best to assume electro-tek is compromised ... especially CCP-enabled products ... and act accordingly. Assume that every use of an electronics product ... from full-tower desktop to IoT-light-bulb is the equivalent of walking down a Detroit alley during "devils-night".  Even safer  is of-course to refrain from buying ANY product made in China. I believe CCP has even installed secret-transmitters in their hand-tools and bat-wing snacks.

Polymarket ... it's just gambling folks. Done alone,  on a tiny  squint-screen while you're taking a crap. Why waste your entertainment monies ?

Instead goto Vegas where the pros really know how to put on a show. Save your pennies. Show the best-gal a great time; rent a tux for a couple days.  Travel ( train anybody?)  and  Vegas hotels  are cheap. For the $3/4-hundred dollar loss at blackjack and craps you get all the sparkle/skin/talent you could imagine. Perhaps Macao and Monaco are better ... if you have the cash, make the dash. But, low-ball  Polymarket ...?

Seems very pracical to me. Like forbidding 3-rd graders learning multiplication from using an electronic calculator. Should also raise the issue of "de-skilling" for adults. The 1st industrial revolution was NOT a pure-positive good. Even now, anyone who can afford to pay for "craft" / hand-made  products does so with a smile. A smaller number of people with modest means just save/pay-cash for guild-work quality clothing & furniture.
