I do agree with you, no argument from me. I think both our positions is that not all students have the means to be able to perform online. Shoot, let's take it a step further. If it is a large family, they may not be in an environment where they can concentrate due to interruptions. Loud noises. I agree a lot of the environment for learning falls on the parents, but I still think it is a factor.

Higher pollution due to higher population.

Considering that the U.S. does not mine all of it's mineral resources due to regulation and areas being off limits. I would think that mining on the moon cost wise is probably is about the same. We still have the resources in the U.S., we just are not able to mine them. The moon though, the environmentalists have not gotten control of that area yet.

Wish you would post some of the articles that document the downsides of this stay at home solution to trying to slow the spread of this virus.

Just saying. There are a ton of side affects, both good and bad that has came about because of the current recommendations to slow the threat of the virus. And a decrease of global change is not the only one.

If a mistake happened in a lab that was studying the virus, which I can believe. I have seen no reputable articles as of yet on that. But it is easily conceivable.

I still think that the release of information in the beginning from ALL sources was at fault. From the Chinese government, to WHO, and also our own government. I don't know if it was down right lying on anyone's part, or if that people just under estimated the severity of the problem. My money is on both. BUT, I have no proof of that other than my own observations.
