Classic Musk: Underestimating the talent and effort needed to break into a business. It took Amazon nine years to become profitable. At the most his attempt will just be "MAGA Temu" and he'll hide the folly by merging it into a business that is working, like he's already done with other properties he owns.

I would think dynamic pricing would be super-obvious to the customer unless they are limiting it to specific price points. Market-based pricing has been a thing for a long time for other products. I already suspect it's used in retail even in my own town when I can go to Wal-Mart on one end of town and find deals different than the one on the other side of town. This just means the end of nation-wide ad campaigns for Mc.D's I guess.

That's like a chef saying he's not responsible for poisoning people when he used spoiled food, because he didn't raise the animals or grow the crops. He still made the choice to cook using them with their questionable quality. The diner isn't always able to see all issues before they consume the dish.
