Submission + - RIP Chandler: Mitch Kapor's "Weekend at Bernie (whydoeseverythingsuck.com)

KH2002 writes: "Mitch Kapor, former Mozilla chairman, and founder of Lotus and EFF has announced that he's bailing from his open source initiative to create an advanced personal information manager — "Chandler," also intended as a replacement for MS Outlook. This comes after six years of development with no product release. Staffing is slashed, and Kapor's financial support stops at year's end.
