I did it once not paying much attention and rushing through I scored 13...
Which is a low average , as the test said ,women on average score 15 and men 17.
So I decided to do it again and pay more attention and answer with more vigour .
Well .. afterwards my score was 6 ..
6 out of fifty .
That is really low and very surprising , whilst not a great indictor in and of itself .. I tell you , I am rather amazed it was that low , even on a web test.

    I just realized something scary; you probably speak Hebrew with a Scottish accent :-D (and yeah, I scored fairly high on that test...)
    • ;) Realise something scarier .. A lot of the Hebrew letters are similar in sound such as the Ch sound and the rrrroling Rrrrs
  • And you'll see that I'm so stereotypically paternalistic that I'd be the classic hermit if I didn't talk a lower-functioning but extroverted dyslexic into marrying me...we're great parents together, there's no birth defect our kids can have that we haven't had to deal with in one way or another. Her language problems and my social problems- Christopher will probably end up being a natural leader, able to talk at a variety of levels, if we can retrain his brain enough in different areas than the scar tissue

      funny thing is .. depending on the day I can appear to be a high functioning Autistic introvert and at other an extremely politically savvy Extrovert .

    • I can now hang around with arty farts and discuss the greatest of modern art ... then cut off my ear and hang myself as I can't stand the pretentious bastards.
  • I scored a 33. I can see that. I'm terrible at social situations and have an extreme interest in all things digital.

    But I personally believe my situation is one of being an introverted geek. I do however have some autistic tendencies, as I see numbers in everything. I sometimes match things via numbers. For example, I'll look at a person, give them a number (without thinking). When I hear their name, I will give that a number, and I'll know if those two numbers are compatible. It's a pecular trait that keep

  • Scoring: If the test subject abandonned the test rather than answer all 50 questions: Normal
    If the test subject took the whole test: Possible autism
    If the test subject took the whole test over and over to see how to "game the system": Oh, its just another nerd from slashdot - give random score.

    • ;) Funny thing is , I worked out how to game the test instantly .. I didn't , but if I had wanted I could get a 1 or a 50 .
      So is working out how to game Introverted or extroverted ... Takes a lot of social engineering skill and understanding sub text

        REminds me of simcity2k. I wanted to see what was the highest growth rate, so I'd build a city, and at the end of the year, put down how many people it had in a spreadsheet.

        re-open the original map. Make some mods. Record results.

        Repeat. Repeat.

        After 10 times, I'd take the optimal city for that year (1900) and do the same thing for 1901. 1902. 1903.

        • ;) now your talking my language .. I had some amazing cities .. I think I have one that is in the year 15K. .. the time moves rather quickly on modern computers .I just turned off disasters and let it ride accruing money.
          I made some lovely cities on the 386 , many concept cities .

    This explains a lot.
    • :S so why did I score 6 .. I have decided I am suffering from Nautism Which is kind of like reverse autism .. mainly because I can not at this time be bothered to search through my texts for the real name of said condition .
      The only one I can think of off the top of my head is William's syndrome .. which really does not apply to me or anyone here with a low score as it normaly (I think always ) includes mental retardation and several other problems of a medical nature . ;) Though to tell you a secret , whi

    Does autism = anti-social?
    • It can , it increases your propinquity for it .. not the same type of Anti Social as in Anti social personality disorder((AKA Psychopathic) , more just introverted.
    • Pretty much, but you need to upgrade it to Asperger to get any benefits.

      But when you seek psychiatric help, the doctors around here just say "Asperger? Never heard of that." and start whipping up alternate diagnosies, letting you have fun finding contradictions in what they say.
      • Yeah, you see the problem is , I could persuade them I had it if I wanted , whilst it would be tricky for someone with A.S to explain to an untrained doctor that they do.
        Persuading a doctor they are wrong is very very tricky.If I want Benza-Diazipam , I walk into a doctors and then walk out with a prescription
