I am keeping a list of articles that show a number of European countries (not just EU ones) moving to increase their digital sovereignty. Given the behaviour of the American administration and the behaviour of American tech companies, this is hardly surprising.

How does the concept of God not feel right? Scientists have been working since the Miller-Urey experiment of 1952 to figure out a spontaneous way in which life can develop and they have come up with absolutely nothing.
Just because they have (so far) come up with nothing, does not mean to say that you can infer that it was a god what dunnit, and particularly the god of an obscure tribe from one planet in a galaxy which probably contains billions of planets, in a universe that contains billions of galaxies.
They are trying to make their exit from the MS crap easier. As the UK is not EU anymore, they have to do their own pushing.
Not necessarily true, the current government is trying to align with the EU much more, to minimise the clusterfuck that is Brexit. They could couple with other countries in the EU (and Europe more widely) that are moving away from MS and other US technologies.

China isn't using the solar panels domestically. They're exporting them to Western nations that are foolish enough to waste money on these mostly ineffective means of power production.

Over and over and over again he makes the kind of promises that investors use to make decisions and he's clearly lying but he somehow gets away with it. Traditionally doing something like that would be considered investment fraud. But he hasn't cost anyone any real money. Yet.
Lots of promises made and not kept, yet nobody pulling him up on it (from his own party at least)? Sounds like a description of Trump to me...

His comments about a 2nd Obama presidency included the warnings that the country “could be lost forever” and that another Obama win would lead to “1,000 years of darkness.”
It might just be over the top, but it could equally be read as racist.

It might help Trump's oil buddies, but his actions are probably going to kill off the chance of the US car industry exporting to other countries.
Norway may be an outlier in car sales at the moment, but as the world buys more electric and hybrid cars, American car manufacturers are going to have to make a choice. Do they stick to Trump engine cars, or look to manufacture what everyone in the rest of the world is using.

And then people look at Vance, Hegseth, and Miller amongst others. Trump may go away, but that doesn't mean that MAGA and Project 2025 will.
It would seem that some American politicians and political movements want to go back to a monoculture.
One where members of the administration don't have to see, Black, Asian, or Latino people, or hear anything of LGBT people. Where there is only "Christian" radio and TV (from a single denomination, naturally).
Perhaps they'll build a pair of them next to each other?
