Usually 3, but very often I skip breakfast.
  • once, starting at 6 AM and ending when i fall asleep. i only weigh 115 and i'm trying not to lose weight!!
  • Haven't played with Express versions, but we have CallManager and Unity at two of our locations... I know enough to get myself in trouble on it, but thats about it...
    • We're still using Lucent here. I have to admin it and I HATE it. I still haven't found a way to change the extension on a port without deleting the old extension and creating a new one. THen you have to set up all your coverage paths, class of service, class of restriction, softkey assignments, dialing lists, etc. PITA.
      • The Cisco IP based stuff doesn't care about the port at all. You can change offices, take the phone with you and your extension follows you. Biggest pain with the cisco stuff as far as move/add/change is that if a phone gets replaced you have to delete the old one and add the new one and do the basic setup. So long as you know the MAC of the phone you are good to go, Cisco has things pretty well templated.
    • the best way to describe CME and CUE is take Call Manager, remove some of the bloat and slap it on a blade in a 3700 router. That's the gist.

      Unity Express is strictly voicemail.

Whatcha think of CCM and Unity?
      • They seem to work fairly well for us. Only had a few problems. Unity really doesn't like it if you delete the owner of an object without deleting or changing the owner of the object, but it doesn't warn you when you do this, it just stops working. I love that when someone changes offices they can just take the phone with them and their extension follows them. The fact that almost all the admin can be done over the web is great too. When you have five facilities with a centrally located I.S. staff 90 mi
        • My primary function in life is providing support for companies that use CCM and Unity. It's pretty fun. The web gui is ok, lots of functionality.

BTW, either you meant VG248 or Cisco is at it again ;)

VGs are really easy to setup.

I just hope you don't have 500 dial peers like some of these customers do.

Sheesh. 3 digit dialing between stores/bank branches/outlets is a GIANT PITA.

What issues are you seeing with vendor support? Do you guys use the Call Accounting software or something?

          Heh, watch me gee
  • I usually eat lunch and dinner. I RARELY have breakfast. On occasion I don't have time for lunch or dinner, so it's down to one. Usually I'll grab some junk food if that's the case, but that doesn't really count as a meal. I ate lunch only yesterday, but I had a few chips and a brownie at a friends house last night.
  • ...since I have jelly beans in my desk drawer. But normally C.

    Three squares a day.
Breakfast usually only means an oatmeal/fruit breakfast bar... but on the weekends usually is a morningstar breakfast item, toast and some soy milk.

Lunch, is had at my desk (I'm a consultant, and don't actually get a "lunch hour") -- and is usually a simple cheese/lettuce sandwich (which I enjoy every single one, johndiii).

Dinner is a toss up. Its either a full-on gourmet, home cooked, fresh-everything type of thing, or like last night... a Quorn frozen lasagna (which are very good by
  • Muesli for breakfast.
    Soup-in-a-cup plus fruit at lunchtime.
    Full meal at dinnertime.

    -MT.
  • 'cause if I'm out of milk I wont eat my all bran.

  • If I get a bag of M&M's, does that mean I eat 60 times / bag on average?

    Usually I go for 2 - 3 meals a day, plus 1 snack in the mid-afternoon.
  • Everyone knows tacos are better than burritos. ESPECIALLY Chicago tacos. Soft flour my ass! You burrito lovers are proven to be sexually dysfunctional...that's a shame.

    Heh. ;)

Are ya gonna go cry yerself ta sleep on yer huge pilla?

*this was a wee bit off-sides--if not totally non-sensical*
    • Look here, Nagap, if that's what you're calling yourself this week, don't make me come over there. You won't like it, and I'll probably have to break a sweat or even worse, a nail, and we most definitely CANNOT HAVE THAT.

So, keep your damned tacos the hell out of my journal. And next time, just answer the fookin question.

WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUCKING FUNNY ABOUT ME? HUH? ;)

Oh, I take it your answer is C? Fair enough. Disregard the previous. Tally ho.
    • I call BLATANT ripoff!

You must be the sixth part of the Pentavarate!! It's you, The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothchilds, and Colonel Sanders before he went tets up! I hate the Colonel with his wee beady eyes, and that smug look on his face: "OOOH YOU'RE GONNA BUY MY CHICKEN!"

And BTW, how many times I eat depends on how much indigestion I'm having that day. Anywhere from twice to 5 [small] times.

      ....Bethanie....

        • Solo tu......

yeah, i've seen it. And my brother eats haggis, though i refuse to let him have it in my apartment. My connection to our scots ancestry doesn't make me like it... sorry, MacAslands....
          • You're #5! :)

Haggis is repellent in every single way. I think most Scottish cuisine was based on a dare.

            heheheheheheh I love that movie.
    • Yeah Chicago tacos! I know that whenever I think of tacos, I think of Chicago. ?????
      • Heh heh. It's an "referential" joke from another thread [slashdot.org].

Seriously though, I haven't had better tacos than on 22nd Street & Ashland in Chicago. And I've eaten lots o' tacos. There are several Hispanic neighborhoods in Chicago with kick ass food. So they SHOULD be known for tacos/burritos/etc here. ;)
  • Cereal for breakfast
    Sammich for lunch
    Who-knows-what for dinner
  • I'm a snacker. I have 3 meals a day, but snack the rest of the time
  • Rarely with a day at C. If I have time to eat, it's usually twice a day. If I don't have time to eat, I end up eating small quantities of food whenever my stomach needs to be forcibly shut up.*

As for today: Burritos all the way, baby!

[*] The layperson might call this business "snacking."

  • I usually eat thrice a day. Usually ((cereal | bagel) & a pot of coffee) for breakfast, walk somewhere for lunch, cook something for supper. Sometimes I miss breakfast. Sometimes I snack a little.
  • Its more efficient that way...

I have breakfast once a week or so. Depends on how rich I feel. When I do eat breakfast its a Monster energy drink and 2 corn dogs from the gas station. Lunch is usually a 2 swanson tv dinners. However the boss treats us to these shredded beef buritos at the nearby resturant, REALLY good. Wish I could have one today...
Dinner is whatever the wife cooks, good stuff.

Unless I get bored. Then I eat a lot more. But usually only once a day, I just don't get hungry if I keep myself occupied.
  • I am also a snacker. Of course, the primary snack available in this house is some form of a fruit, so it's not that terrible for my health, but I still eat all the time.:)
