I'm sick of paying for redundant federal workers, every one of which thinks their job is irreplaceable simply because managers have never been under pressure to do more with less.

It's remarkable how confidently sweeping statements are made about organizations, especially by those with little to no understanding of how they actually function. But sure, keep believing the narrative.

Amazing how the conversation changes in here to "Federal agencies shouldn't have legislative power" and no one is actually arguing whether anti-compete clauses are a good or bad thing. Classic anti-consumer tactic...distract by saying that it's an overreach of power and never talk about it again.

Just because you personally don't know of an application where it's useful doesn't mean it's useless. This research tells us a lot about airflow optimization, efficient inverter design, battery/weight ratios, etc. If you think car manufacturers are ignoring this research, you clearly don't work in the industry. All of that aside, this research prepares students for a career in the real world. Far better than sitting in a classroom listening to a lecturer.

Having an opinion that is wrong won't get you banned from a platform. It's been like that for years. Straight up perpetuating lies to basic facts will get you banned. Trumpers have changed the political landscape permanently by weaponizing the latter. It was bound to happen eventually, they just did it first.
