Good, that's a great first step. Now let's talk about Namecheap's apparent lack of due diligence for the vendors it uses. Where did that aspect fail? How will Namecheap rectify this issue with their vendor?

For me, the changes done by Mozilla and Thunderbird developers do not seem to in response to users' requests, but more for the faddish whims of those developers. If the Thunderbird developers actually cared about what the users want, don't you think they would pay more attention to what the users ask for and problems they document on the Thunderbird support forum?

[[[--- I'd like to give the Thunderbird team the benefit of doubt --- }

I gave them the benefit of doubt with the first API change that destroyed some add-ins I had been using. Then came the second API change. And now it looks like a third. How many times does one need to give them the "benefit of the doubt?"

Now, with this announcement, it is looking like yet another API change that will break even more add-ins, as if the last two API changes didn't break enough things. Thunderbird developers seem to boast about the add-ins, yet they also seem to go out of their way to break them. Honestly, I would not mind donating to Thunderbird, but for now, why support developers who do not listen to users' requests?
