It seems so unlikely that 'a misconfiguration' could be the cause and somewhat likely that a rogue/malicious/fooled employee did this, so we should assume a preponderance of odds until evidence is provided to the contrary.

At least they didn't get the Whole Parler treatment.

Does Bumble have a filter for girls who can't keep their hands off you but when they don't get enough attention subsequently get 'feelings of regret' and then call the police to ex-post facto withdraw their consent?

It wouldn't even be a problem except the Judiciary is stacked with corrupt activist judges who won't dismiss the complaint with prejudice and award attorneys fees in the first six minutes.

Combine that with monkey-branching leavers who look for adventure after the kids are born (and weaponize the corrupt judiciary to indenture the man) and it's easy to see why the fertility rates are way down and escort services are way up.

AI won't fix this - unless somehow it replaces corrupt judges .

And even though millions of men are violated this way, I normally encounter people like me who haven't seen it personally so they dismiss the concerns.

Rome saw very similar corruption which led to total societal collapse.

no, fuck you. we in the third world don't rely on HVAC so our houses won't crumble apart eaten away by mold. we also don't live in "thousands of square feet" houses, and don't have AC for the garage.

we don't drive 50 miles to work every day either, or keep even more thousands of green yard, or build in places where power going out for half a day means freezing to death

building smaller, more efficient houses and relying more on public transportation... hell, even in rezoning so you can actually have a grocery store near your house will have significant effect in carbon emissions reduction and have barely noticeable in your (perceived) quality of life.

but it's just impossible to have a discussion with an American. you know only one way to do things, the way your dad did it, and also his dad's way, and also his dad's grandfather's way. and you ain't gonna change anything because conservativism (nothing to do with politics) runs through your veins . you Americans are simply unable to grasp the concept of change. you do things only one way and refuse to even consider alternatives

Their government contract says they delivered the software as required.

The beauty of fascism is everybody on corporate welfare can get rich being lazy while the taxpayers get poorer and poorer.

It used to be that the town had a guy with a router and a stack of boards and good paint to make the road signs. Now somebody's uncle gets 10x that to make them with no accountability.

Yeah, the apostrophe problem is probably in some other dumb software system but follow the premise.

Ain't the Public Commons grand?

Now watch me trigger the anticommunists: the towns could collectively develop open source software for their needs cheaper and better than their contractor.

The only losers there are the fascists. But thanks to corruption and kickbacks that will continue.

(and the antifa people are just marxist fascists - don't get me going)

One proposal I heard is that we could reflect heat back into space using those very ships.

All we have to do is add some sulfur to the fuel oil.

We actually have that sulfur because it's a waste product from desulfating the fuel, which is legally required.

So if after we desulfate the fuel we then add back in the sulfur that one simple trick could help fix global warming.
