I can see the next depression being caused by this. The wealthy buy up nearly all property and rent it back to the poor and middle class. Over time rent gets out of hand and too many people become homeless or live out of tents in the woods. This continues until a breaking point and everything falls apart.

I'm pretty sure the consensus here is that gig driving is a scam that pays poorly and takes advantage of most drivers. And that was while those driver's incomes were being subsidized by the service. If those jobs are eliminated, I think most would agree that it would be a good thing.

Its not like anyone can say gig driving is their heritage...

"My great grand daddy was a gig drivers back in the depression. Then my grandpa was a gig driver in WWII delivering rations to soldiers in the Pacific. My dad delivered the first McD chicken nuggets. And I started gig work in '94 delivering Kenny Rogers Roasters and Steak and Ale in my Saturn. Derka der."

What ethics are they violating?
Do you think self driving cars are too dangerous for the road?
Or do you think self driving cars are taking jobs away from humans and that makes them unethical?
Or is there some other reason this is unethical? Just saying this idea "lacks ethics" without any context doesn't help make anyone believe its true.

If I were going to do a huge crime like that, I'd not wear my own clothes. I'd go to multiple thrift stores and buy used clothes with cash to make it harder to track me down via sourcing. I'd also get shoes that were slightly too big/small, cut/dye my hair, apply fake tattoos, wear fake earring or nose stud, etc. Then after the crime I'd destroy those clothes and hope authorities are looking for someone who doesn't even match me.

So... If you found the tie "I" was wearing during the scene of the crime and analyzed it, you'd likely figure out info related to its previous owner.

If you ever watch any cold case files or similar shows, many people get caught due to the fact they keep the murder weapon or clothes they wore while committing the crime. They leave fuzz from their jacket, footprints from shoes with odd wear, hats with hair in them, etc. If you're going to leave the police clues, be sure they a misleading clues and don't track back to you. And I think most can agree, D.B. Cooper did a pretty good job of NOT leaving useful clues for law enforcement to find.

I'd prefer my vehicle to NOT have remote update capabilities. I want to control when and how modifications to my vehicle are performed. The last thing I want is a forced reboot that goes wrong while on the middle of a roadtrip 1000 miles from home.
