to me, it is that Door Dash advertised specifically that "TIPS goto the drivers", but then, kinda of covertly, decreased driver pay when they got tipped. So yes, the tips went to the drivers, but, the drivers didn't actually make any more money unless they were tipped more than minimum wage.

I agree but, I'm angry that we didn't really get a say. When shopping at different airline sites none of them actual gave us the chance to vote with our $$$, none of them advertised the comfort of their standard/business class. I've always been faced with cheap economy, or double the prize for first.

The key part of the negative For Embrace-Extend-Extinguish is the Extinguish part. Coincidentally that the only part you didn't specifically say anything about for Red Hat. Red Hat, the biggest company extend linux into the corporate world. Who else employed consultants to say, "Tell me the one thing linux doesn't do for you, and we'll fix it for you so you can embrace it".

Do you realize that Redhat release 100% of it's source code for public projects, so, even if they don't use the software in their distribution, it is out there- they don't kill anything.

Your point is lost when you apply a specific complaint to the whole. Some taxes, some fees disproportionately hurt poor people. We should look more into fixing that.

But we know in general that rich people donâ(TM)t take care of poor people out of the goodness in their heart. So we form groups, we form governments. The government is not just some asshat. It is a system of people. It takes real work and leadership to change it for the better.

Well, that is the entire debate right there. That there is increasing amount of evidence that some people have trouble choosing not to even when they should. This is what is means for an action to be addictive; that in the face of unhealthy consequences, some peopleâ(TM)s brains wont let them do it in moderation.
