Normalization has almost nothing to do with space reduction. Normalization is there to help ensure correctness of your information.
If your career will involve databases for any length of time, it will pay for itself many times over.
Also, thanks for that. As an ex Slony user, I appreciate that reference!
Nope, all of those are horrible too. I have not actually put a lot of thought into what I would like a relational query language to look like. Now that I'm thinking about it, though, I'd like to give the problem some consideration.
I like relational dbs, but SQL is kind of a crap language to access them. The default join is a Cartesian which is almost never what you want. The defaults for UPDATE and DELETE are to affect every row in the table. Yes, transactions prevent data loss here, but transactions aren't there to save us from crappy syntax.
but can't get out of Bronze in SC2. But I don't like the new one nearly as much as the old one in terms of gameplay. But it is beautiful to look at.
7-pool is better than a 6-pool, but if they wall off before your zerglings get there, you're toast. Roach timings are better, especially if the Terran goes early expand.
The problem with that is that the food itself is usually the smallest expense for a restaurant. Payroll, location, and utilities are far more expensive for them. Making a portion 25% smaller saves them almost nothing, but loses them in comparison to other restaurants that appear to be "more generous". It's perverse, but the huge portions served in most places is a result of this.
However, the situation of "the guy in front of me is drunk or high" is (unfortunately) NOT very, very, rare, especially if I'm on the road after about 9 pm, which is frequently for me. I call the cops at least once a month to report an impaired driver. I do have hands-free though, which helps.
When you play my game. We're going to flip a fair coin 10 time, and if it's heads, you pay me 50 dollars, and if it's tails, you pay me 100 dollars. If you refuse to play, you have lost.
I love my country, I love the truth. I, however, do not conflate the shenanigans of Rome-On-Potomac with my country.
Ending sentences with prepositions is something up with which I shall not put!
Do you really "need" more? Are you not getting sufficient hydration and calories to sustain life? If not, you should probably spend the time and personal resources you spent responding to me and instead go for a walk and scavenge some discarded recyclables to sell. Few highly paid people in STEM fields really understand what people "need".
If you're not a subsistence farmer or a hunter/gatherer, this statement means almost nothing coming from you. If you are, well, good on ya, mate. I'm interested in how you get internet, though, because I' d like to be more like you!
