Isn't all that airline and air traffic related stuff still stuck in the 70s? And where it is not, it has to be compatible to systems stuck in the 70s? What about non-ASCII letters in your name? Or at least case sensitive passenger names? On my tickets, my name and middle name get mushed into something unreadable that has nothing to do with my name.

An occupancy detection deactivating this feature when the seat is occupied, or when the pilot in this seat is in control of the AP, would be a really good place to start.

That would just add another point of failure.

Mechanical security (button cover that works without getting stuck in the open position) or an additional release button that requires two hands to actually activate the seat motors would be simpler

Here's a question for anyone who thinks IQ is a numeric measure of "intelligence":
What is intelligence and what does it mean for one person to be more intelligent than another?

It's the ability to get a highscore in an IQ-Test. And it means that you are doing good in whatever 5 (plusminus) fields are tested in your IQ-Test. Usually language, math, memory, logic, spatial thinking.

Will this in any way have an influence on your life, career, happiness or karma? Only if you are somehow building them on language, math, memory, logic, spatial thinking, which of course you could do. Which is possible e.g. by picking a career that requires those.

Yes, it's a good start to give a rough estimate of ones mental capabilities, but it's not helping the slightest if you are a jerk.

Not directly linked. When demand for electricity rises because of Bitcoin mining and A/C, then you plain and simple need MORE electricity.

Yes, managing the grid is more difficult with variable sources, but far from impossible. (Demand from crypto mining e.g. could be matched to the variable production) It's a solved problem, so there is no reason when new power generation needs to be build, to not have that renewable.

Biggest problem with solar or wind is not having them.

Alright, I'm trying to figure out WTF stuff people are trying to take on flights with them.

Are people trying to carry half their homes with them to destination?

Well, I can't blame them for trying to max out the carry-on policies as airlines are actively discouraging checking a bag with high fees and long waiting time for drop of and retrieval. (ok, second is mostly the airport, but having a checked bag included or not is their decision.

I'd ban wheels. If it has wheels, it's not CARRY on.
