Really solid compression Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: Our team had to send a set of proposal documents via email with a strict attachment limit. ZenDocs was perfect in compressing the documents, and no one could tell the difference in quality.
Positive: Compressing eight large PDFs in batches resulted in all of them being below 3MB with no loss of quality. The speed was quite impressive even on a mid-range laptop internet connection.
Negative: It would be great to see the size of the compressed file before downloading.

Merging made simple Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: Had to combine a pile of vendor invoices into a single file before a deadline. The entire process took less than three minutes.
Positive: The merge feature allowed me to merge 12 scanned documents into a single PDF file without any issues. The drag-and-drop functionality made the entire process seem extremely easy and fast.
Negative: The icons on the toolbar could be a little bigger, had to squint at them on a smaller laptop screen.

quick invoice scanning Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: digitizing expenses for the week took minutes. scanning fuel receipts in the truck saved a lot of headache later.
Positive: scanning receipts with the camera was lightning fast, and the ocr scan was perfect even with some dirt on the paper.
Negative: auto-crop sometimes misses the corners, and i wish there was an option for flash in dark storage units.

Password protect feature Date: Feb 13 2026
Summary: Protected client NDAs and project briefs before sending them via email. The setup took only a few seconds per document, and none of my clients had issues opening the files after I also sent the passwords via text. Greatly helped ease my mind on sending sensitive information by this method instead of unencrypted attachments. Nothing beats security when working with sensitive information.
Positive: Securing confidential files with password encryption is easy and secure. Provides assurance when divulging confidential details that only preferred persons have access to the files.
Negative: It would be great to have something like a password strength indicator to confirm users are creating strong and not easily guessable passwords.

Great rotation tool Date: Feb 13 2026
Summary: Scanned a bunch of receipts for expense reports, and, naturally, half of them were scanned wrong. Fixed 30 pages in maybe 5 minutes, though, and I did have to click on each one individually to rotate them. Much quicker than rescanning them in properly rotated, and it looks perfect enough for business use out of the gate.
Positive: Correcting orientation for scanned documents is no problem at all. Documents that arrived sideways or upside-down from the scanner are easy to correct with just a few clicks. The effect of the correction is visible immediately on screen.
Negative: Possibly more intuitive as bulk rotation for multiple pages: Currently, you have to choose individual pages before you can apply any rotation.

Delete pages quickly Date: Feb 09 2026
Summary: Cleaned up a 50-page contract by removing outdated appendices and blank pages that were cluttering the document. Selection process was intuitive, and deleting of pages happened instant. Whittled it down to 32 relevant pages in about 3 minutes-much easier for clients to review the document. The only minor issue was nearly deleting the wrong section once; caught it before download, though.
Positive: Removing unnecessary pages from documents is incredibly easy and quick. Just select the pages for deletion, and they are gone in an instant-no complicated menus and confirmations to slow you down.
Negative: There is no clear undo functionality if you accidentally delete the wrong page, though downloading without saving may serve as a workaround.

Zendocs jpg conversion Date: Feb 09 2026
Summary: Extracted product catalog pages as individual JPG files to use on our e-commerce site. Each image came out crisp and clear at 300 DPI, which looked professional on product pages.
Positive: Converting PDF pages to JPG images is fast and produces high-resolution outputs that work perfectly for social media posts or website graphics. Quality settings give good control over file size versus clarity.
Negative: Downloading converted images one by one is tedious – a zip file option for batch downloads would speed things up considerably.

Excellent for contracts Date: Feb 09 2026
Summary: Processed approximately 15 vendor contracts, which were originally scanned images without a text layer. The OCR feature was awesome – I could now instantly search for phrases like "payment schedule" or "termination clause" as opposed to going through all the scans again. The accuracy was good enough that I only found a few minor OCR errors when carefully reading through it.
Positive: Converted image-based contracts into PDFs, which enabled text to be searched, thereby allowing specific terms to be quickly found without having to read through everything.
Negative: The search engine works properly but would be more convenient if it also highlighted all occurrences of search terms on the page at once.

PDF to excel accuracy Date: Feb 09 2026
Summary: Extracted the quarterly sales data from PDF format into Excel format for analysis. Approximately 90% of the data was extracted accurately, with slight adjustments required for header formatting. The ability to manipulate the data in Excel format, as opposed to PDF, saved me hours of time for copying and pasting.
Positive: Extracted tables from financial statements into Excel format with remarkable accuracy. Column alignment was maintained properly, and formulas were retained in most cases, which saved enormous amounts of time for data entry.
Negative: Sometimes headers require slight adjustments for proper formatting, and merged cells may not translate well.

Compress kept quality Date: Feb 06 2026
Summary: Archived an entire year's worth of design mockups that were consuming almost 2GB of cloud storage space. By archiving them, managed to whittle them down to around 400MB without any degradation in quality when viewing a zoomed-in version. This not only allows the clients to view the older versions if necessary, it's also freed up space for new projects.
Positive: Compression greatly reduced the sizes of the files, while their image quality is identical to before. The compression is great for storing old project images without wasting valuable memory space.
Negative: I believe that the batch processing would speed up the archiving of my projects, since presently I’m processing every file individually, which can add up when handling large projects.

Clean interface layout Date: Feb 06 2026
Summary: Been using this weekly for the past two months for different document-related tasks. The arrangement of things in this program never causes me confusion, and I'm able to accomplish my tasks in just a couple of clicks most of the time.
Positive: All things are logically kept in order on the home page, and finding the tool that I want takes just seconds without any cluttering menu and nonsense navigation.
Negative: Some tool descriptions might be more detailed, since users not familiar with PDF-specific terms might not understand what the feature does.

Password protection works Date: Feb 06 2026
Summary: I protected several tax documents before sending them by email to my accountant. I think the encryption is quite secure, and it was only maybe 10 seconds of typing in passwords for each file. Some of the clients, however, were unsure of how to enter the password when opening the documents, but overall, it was okay, and it is better than sending the documents unprotected by email.
Positive: Setting up password protection for important documents is easy — just upload, password-protect, and download. It gives me peace of mind when I need to share financial documents via email.
Negative: Instructions to recipients on how to open password-protected files could be better; I had to explicitly explain it to a couple of my clients.

Merge images into pdf Date: Feb 03 2026
Summary: Compiled a property damage report for the insurance company that needed photos from different angles. Dropped all the images into the merge tool, arranged them in order (exterior images first, then interior), and exported a single PDF document. The insurance company accepted it immediately without requesting any reformatting, which was a relief 😊
Positive: Put together about 20 photos from my phone into a single PDF document quickly. The image quality was not compromised, and I could arrange the order of the images before finalizing, which was really helpful for making a visual report.
Negative: It took a few extra seconds to load the preview thumbnails for all the images, but it was not a problem for the convenience it offers.

Reliable pdf to word Date: Feb 03 2026
Summary: Had to go back and edit a few old contracts that were only in PDF form. Accuracy of conversion was about 95%, which is pretty good considering the documents were scanned from an old machine. Took about 10 minutes to clean up formatting errors in three documents compared to hours it would've taken to retype everything. Highly recommend for anyone with old documents that need to be edited.
Positive: Managed to turn a few scanned contracts into Word documents that could be edited, and the accuracy of the text scanning was surprisingly good even for scanned documents from an old machine. Formatting was preserved, which was a huge time-saver compared to having to manually clean up scanned documents.
Negative: Sometimes the tables end up a little wonky and need to be tweaked, but at least it's quicker than having to retype everything.

Split tool saved me Date: Feb 03 2026
Summary: Had to extract certain chapters from our employee handbook to distribute to different departments. The splitting function allowed me to choose exact page ranges, which was much more efficient than doing it through a word processor or printing to PDF. Took about 5 minutes to create 8 separate files, which would have taken me half an hour otherwise.
Positive: Breaking up large files into separate pages or ranges is very easy. Pulled off exactly the part of the 200-page manual I needed in under a minute, and the quality was not affected.
Negative: The file naming for split documents is set to generic numbering, so I had to rename them manually.
