You’re not alone if they never gave your refund back to you that means they stole it. I know that they’re doing this to thousands if not hundreds of thousands of customers we will get justice

Positive: They are actively and have actively stolen, almost $300 in a refund from my autistic, dying father the merchant credited back flowers from the memorial of my dead mother, and they are actively in half an actively for nine months, now gaslighting us, and giving us all kinds of robotic Non-sensible excuses as to why they haven’t been able to give us the refund back but the merchant claims and has the accounting Forensics that the merchant refunded the money back to Shop Pay and Shop Pay claims they refunded it, but it never ever was ever refunded back to Discover credit card. I have all the accounting Forensics to prove this. They keep trying to blame a dispute that I opened with Discover over them not being able to refund the credit back to discover discover says that lie the biggest lie they’ve ever heard actually because no matter what dispute they opened up on their investigation, it would never prevent shop and pay from allocating the refund back to the Discover card, this has been a nightmare not only that the staff that Max L CEO cowardly lowlife of a man who steals refund money from autistic handicap, hard-working people who are dying. This is the reputation of this company now anyway, the staff employees they have no education they barely speak English and they all have a script that they read and it doesn’t make any sense they’re actively stealing our money, now if they’re actively stealing our money, they’re definitely stealing thousands of other refunds I’m sure so I’m posting this to rally any other customers who want to join me. I am petitioning a class action lawsuit against Shop Pay for harassment from menacing for gaslighting for emotional duress and THEFT of not only my refund but my time and I’m sure thousands of other customers just like me and similar situation where their refunds have just disappeared and never were credited back to them. Please join me? I found an attorney in Chicago, who is willing to take on a class action lawsuit against shop and pay affirm ? Negative: There are no positives it’s all a big con. That’s why I posted the con under the pro. This company is vile, toxic fraudulent, and evil shop and pay must be investigated and they must be litigated in a court of law with a mass class action lawsuit I want justice and I know I’m not the only one that wants justice. They are stealing our money.

Summary: Terrible! Klarna is way better. I have never had issues with them. I have had nothing but issues with shop pay and they do not help people receive refunds on purchases when their is an issue with the merchant.

Positive: Nothing! I recommend no one to do business with them. Customer service is poor and their representatives will give you the run around.

Negative: I will never take out a loan with Shop Pay again. I placed an order on a product on July 3rd. I didn’t receive the product until a month later and when I received the product, it was in poor condition. When it was time to dispute the product, shop pay window had closed for me to dispute the case so I took it up with my credit card company for a charge back since the merchant ignored my emails to return the product back. Well, Shop pay’s customer service is extremely poor! Not only did they not dispute the matter with the merchant, but I’m stuck with a debt and bill I should not be obligated to pay! Shop pay has done nothing to resolve this issue so I can get my money back.

Summary: I use Apple Pay or PayPal, they have no trouble processing my payments. I do not have trouble with ANY app, except Shop Pay. It is poorly designed and I think they take advantage of people with bad credit.

Positive: NONE- they won't let me complete a transaction. WORST APP ever, not sure how they are still in business.

Negative: Every time I try to pay with Shop Pay it won't let me.
I confirmed with their support that there is a 'limitation' on my account. I have a credit score over 800 and am a credit card balance payer. I think they only want unstable people who are going to break their payments into 4 so they can make more money on them. Seems like a predatory practice to me.

Summary: You can use SHOP PAY/ASURION HOWEVER, do the math...if it does not add up, keep it moving or pay outright for your item.

Positive: Shop Pay is useful when making expensive purchases (IF THEY HAVE the payment plan correct, then I would say to use it, other than that. Scam.

Negative: Personal experience, I have paid MORE for the item if I relied on their payment plan chart. YOU MUST DO THE MATH ON YOUR own. I called the company that I was purchasing from with my complaint only to find out, they have no control over shop pay. what sense does this make? I am purchasing from YOUR website, not directly from Shop Pay.

Summary: I find myself more and more avoiding online venues that primarily use a firm or Shop Pay. The terms with other payment management systems are so much more affordable, much more convenient, and the customer service is much, much better.

Positive: Nothing really. Compared to Klarna and Afterpay, I'm not sure anyone would prefer this payment method.

Negative: Terrible terms unless you want to pay off in four installments. Klarna allows you to pay interest free over the space of a year.

Summary: I don’t have the patience or time to go through all this again.

Positive: Nothing positive to say, it has been nothing but grief this afternoon trying to sort something I ordered & there is nothing I can do to fix it.

Negative: This payment method company has caused me so much grief this afternoon.

Never again will I shop anywhere using this payment method.

Summary: Not a fan. I found out about from my first order which was way and I used it a few time. I got most stuff except the first thing that brought me to the site.

Positive: Nothing!! It was very easy to use but if do not receive the item it does not matter how easy it is. Sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks.

Negative: Horrible customer service!! If you run a site like this you need to make sure the merchants are legit!! I bought something from my home upgrade store and never received it and the store is gone. Must be a Shop store to take advantage of people. Deleted app and lesson learned.

Summary: When the entire payment went through instead of installment payments, I was incensed. You can't even get Shop to help with it, they tell you to cancel the item with the site you bought from using their service. NEVER AGAIN. I'll stick with Afterpay or Paypal from now on.

Positive: I thought I'd love to use this for installment payments. The site does not explain how that works.

Negative: I got charged the ENTIRE PAYMENT instead of installments.

Summary: My experience has been a total loss! They supposedly are to handle transactions for companies, however, when a refund it due they don't process your refund and never answer your emails. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER!!! Bunch of thieves!!!

Positive: Nothing. There are no Pros to using a rip off company that has no customer service. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Negative: That they stole my money and I tried writing to them since they have no customer service number. Of course they have never written back.

Summary: Horrific, frustrating, annoying, broken, time-wasting, poorly automated, developmentally ignored piece of trash.

Positive: The concept, on paper. That is all, nothing more. There is nothing good to say about this tech at all besides the theoretical conception of it.

Negative: The entire execution and integration. Refuses to recognize established user accounts. Refuses to reconcile minor discrepancies in user information (ie the +4 portion of a zip code). Refuses to function as intended! I have never actually succeeded in getting Shop Pay to set up an installment plan correctly, ever, as a consumer. It's horrid. Zero customer support as well, lol.

Summary: Frightening and frustrating. They must have stolen my information and created an account that I never requested.

Positive: Absolutely nothing! I never even requested an account. Yet they somehow illegally obtained my credit card account.

Negative: I am an unwilling customer. Businesses should NEVER use this as a payment option. I will never support a business that requests payment via Shop Pay. When attempting to make an online purchase, the only option presented was Shop Pay. I logged in to Shop Pay to investigate and found that I have an account that I never requested. Even better, they had all my credit card info auto populated in their system, including a very new credit card. When I tried to contact customer support, the only option to obtain support was to install their app. No thank you! I was able to delete my credit card info from the account I never signed up for, and I think I successfully deleted my account. I have no doubt they will somehow reactivate this. This is all illegal!

Summary: Annoying Rubbish.

Positive: Not sure how I even ended up using this stupid app. Sent my order to the wrong address and created an unnecessary headache! I will be making sure I do not accidentally click on it next time.

Negative: Rubbish, wasting my bloody time.

Summary: The payments were set up on automatic, and linked to Affirm, but would not process for this particular product purchased through ShopPay.
I already had existing purchases being paid on Affirm.
I made this purchase, using the same debit card, and while the first payment went through okay, none of the following payments would process!!! I'd keep getting errors saying my card was declined, they told me to call the bank so I called the bank, all good there, so I made the call back to ShopPay, and they processed my overdue payment over the phone, and then they reassured me my payments were on auto, and all should be good now. Next payment comes along and it's declined! Go thru the same inconvenient process to get the payment made, and I expressed my concern about making future payments, and they say all should be good. Well guess what, the next payment due was declined again, I even used 3 different cards! Anyway, at this point, on that last call, I decided to just pay off the balance because I was getting declined for a new Affirm purchase that said I had an overdue payment!!!
I just wanted to be done with them. The last representative I spoke to said there was an unusual issue with the processor, and she apologized. That's it, nothing else she could do.
And sure enough, as I expected, I've now been completely declined for the shoes I've been needing to buy for work!
They say all looks good on their end, that maybe it's my credit or something else 😏 🤔 🤨😒 Uh No sir! 😳 Ugh!
It is just so disappointing to be told that nothing can be done. We all know we're just a number in the back ground of running your credit and purchasing things online, so the system doesn't understand issues like this, so it's just a terrible lesson learned. I would wish this incident on no one!! If anyone can correct this, please message me!

Positive: The opportunity to purchase something I needed and make payments is the pro that will be considered for this required comment space.

Negative: My payments would not process!
Found out on the 3rd call that you had a processor that wasn't working properly!
I tried to make another needed purchase, but was declined due to having overdue payments! I paid it off, and now I can't make any purchases at all using Affirm.

Summary: Hate it usually doesn’t work and it’s not my card!! What a joke this is, something else connected to Shop Pay that doesn’t work.

Positive: Nothing prefer Apple Pay. Nothing doesn’t work half the time, and it’s not my card! Prefer Apple Pay, always works.

Negative: Why is shop pay often the only pay option? Usually doesn’t work.

Summary: Never going to use this app again. Also reading above, people have said they leave you high and dry for refunds if a business scams you or makes a mistake, which is a total no-go for me.

Positive: Ability to pay in installments, 0% APR. The UI is nice, but I always feel like information is missing when I use it.

Negative: In order to track a shipment (you know, for the stuff you paid for??) it requires you to use the Shop app, which requests access to READ YOUR EMAIL.

Absolutely not necessary and a total violation of privacy from a generic payment app. Others have noted it-- they're definitely selling your data.
