Summary: Very happy looking forward to using this for a long time, it’s the type of product as well that suits all your needs today but will have the things you need when you grow, it’s a large scale software

Negative: We like to use QuickBooks for the accounting aspect of real estate management.

Summary: Absolute wonderful customer service representative's. Every tech I have encountered has been wonderful. They explain everything in details and have a lot of patience. I know when I call them they are going to solve my issue immediately. It is very refreshing to experience great customer service that goes extra mile.

Positive: If you want great customer service that is what you will get. Not only are they quick to solve the issue but they go extra mile and are very patient and kind.

Negative: There are no cons with this system I cannot say enough good things about this system.

Summary: Overall, nothing but positive feedback from us. I use Rent Manager for accounting, prospect tracking, billing, rent management, and tenant relations. It helps solve late payments, missed communications, tenant accounts, and overall building management issues. Texting for fast communication and integration with leasing software are big benefits.

Positive: I really find texting to be huge, as it allows for seamless and fast communication with all of our tenants in the building, as well as other properties. Rent Manager provides clear oversight to those in management about what's going on with tenants and prospects, which means anyone can pick up where someone left off with full clarity. The ability to integrate with our leasing software is essential. The UI and graphical aspect of Rent Manager is easier to grasp and more straightforward than Yardi. The initial setup was also very easy.

Negative: The inability to filter for some basic things is definitely a disadvantage; there are a million search parameters however, some basic ones are left missing. When dealing with 1000+ prospects and bulk data. Things like, the ability to filter out by who has paid the application fees, would be one of the few off the top of my head.

Summary: My overall experience with Rent Manager has been extremely positive. It has streamlined our property‑management processes, improved tenant communication, and helped our team stay organized. The maintenance module, accounting tools, and reporting capabilities have significantly reduced manual work. Updates are consistent, customer support is responsive, and the system continues to evolve in a helpful direction. It has become a core part of our daily operations.

Positive: The system brings leasing, maintenance, accounting, reporting, and tenant communication into one easy‑to‑use platform. The search tools, workflows, and automation options save a tremendous amount of time. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with third‑party tools and how powerful the reporting features are.

Negative: There is a learning curve because the system offers so many features, but once you understand the layout, it becomes very intuitive. Any initial complexity is outweighed by how much the software can do.

Summary: Everything went well, person was very polite and helpful. IT person also went into my computer to double check to make sure everything was correct, which it was. Resident received email and followed instructions, but it will not let him set up an account for online payments.

Summary: my overall experience was great! friendly staff! ease with turbo meet to help ease my experience. Told me each time when he was putting me on hold to research.

Positive: user friendly & I can always call support if I get stuck. Rent manager university was a huge help to me coming from QuickBooks. I did quite a few tutorials.

Negative: like to print a check it takes like 3 PRINT buttons to do this?

With my accounting background, I especially value the detailed property-level reporting and the ability to maintain separate books for each property with accuracy and efficiency. The system’s built-in checks and balances help reduce errors, which is critical in property management and financial tracking. I also appreciate the flexibility of having both RM12 and Express interfaces within the same platform, allowing users to choose the layout that works best for them without changing workflows. While pricing has increased over the years—as most services have—the functionality, reliability, and long-term value of the software make it a strong and dependable solution.

Positive: With my accounting background, I prefer working with RM12 because of the detailed property-level information it provides. The system’s built-in checks and balances help minimize errors, and it makes it simple to maintain separate books for each property. I also appreciate that Rent Manager offers Express for users who prefer a different interface. Having two interface options within the same system and workflow adds flexibility without sacrificing consistency.

Negative: Like most services, pricing has increased over time, which is understandable given rising costs. If I had to note a con, it would simply be that I preferred the pricing from years ago—but that’s more a reflection of how long I’ve been using the software than a true complaint about its current value.

Summary: Very satisfied and think that having software that does so much on the back end will give us the edge we need to focus on the actual company.

Positive: Rent Manager is highly customizable and is a perfect match for my company's operating style and structure.

Negative: I was initially optimistic about the RMvoip system, but think that it's lacking in the customization that makes the rest of the software so great.

Summary: Rent manager is a great program. So many options for accessing the program - desktop, web browser, and app. Keeps a lot of information all in one program to keep great records.

Positive: So many great features all in one software. Tenant files, maintenance requests, accounting, asset tracking, and so much more. There are so many integrations and they are always adding more. The tenant portal is so easy to understand and the rmresident app is fantastic.

Negative: I don't like that sometimes the webpage times out and data is lost when it refreshes.

Summary: I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I have received from Lakisha & the team. The training is thorough, well-structured, & tailored to ensure a clear understanding of the system. She is knowledgeable, patient, & responsive, making even complex processes easy to grasp. Professionalism & dedication greatly enhanced my experience, & I feel confident using Rent Manager as a result. I truly value the level of support provided and highly recommend their training services.

Negative: Cons?...I would have to say would be the time difference.

Summary: It's a lot better than Yardi. I feel like I can find anything I'm looking for without hunting it down for dozens of minutes

Positive: Everything is easy to find, and is exactly where I expect it to be. Customer service is always helpful, and always helps me if I need it.

Negative: I wish there were a few more features, like a fee free option for residents to pay.

Summary: When I have had concerns of doing something I am not sure of 1 call to tech support and BOOM they walk me thru it in simple terms. They are fantastic
I have been a user from the old double disk days and boy have they grown

Positive: There is no feature in this program I dislike every step is so user friendly and the have a great tech support staff if you run into a snafu

Negative: I honestly cannot find anything I dislike about the Rent Manager

Summary: As a new user, figuring out how to operate Rent Manager was made easy with the help of the implementation process and the workers.

Positive: Rent Manager allows user to easily set up properties, units, and administrative accounts. There is also always the option to ask for help if there is any confusion on how to operate.

Negative: I would not say that there are any cons to using or trying our Rent Manager.
