Summary: I work in IT in an agency with 60 employees. There are a half dozen people who need to edit PDFs. Using PDF Pro 10 has saved us a ton of money.

Positive: Edit PDFs.
Create fillable forms.
Does all the basic things you need from a PDF editor without a monthly fee.

Negative: When adding text, the screen flashes a tiny bit with each letter. It works fine, it's just distracting.

Summary: Wonderful product; good value for your dollar; excellent tech support; offers many good features for editing.

Positive: Offers all of the features of more expensive PDF applications; not as expensive as other applications.

Negative: Typewriter feature a little challenging--hard to line up text entered in a check box or filling in on a line.

Summary: Good product for the price. and very helpful service desk.

Positive: It is easy to use and has many different functions.

Negative: Sometimes the changed interface is hard to work with. I liked the old version more.

Sometimes activation does not work anymore and you need helpdesk to solve (and they do).

Summary: I am happy with the product and when I learn to navigate and use the functions I will be more than happy I'm sure with it.

Positive: Before I purchased PDF Pro 10 I had several questions which were answered by a staff member named Annalissa. She was always prompt and informative in reply and more than that was always courteous which meant a lot to me and was subsequently my reason for making the purchase.

Negative: I would like to have more information on how to use the product with out having to search in the media for this.

Summary: Great response from support team. I have tried other PDF software and I believe that this one is the best.

Positive: Had a problem reactivating and got a quick response to solve my problem. I have used in the past other PDF software and PDF Pro is great.

Negative: I do not have any negative comments. The system works great.

Summary: Very pleased with the product overall. Easy to install. Version changes can be messy (e.g. uninstall then re-install).

Positive: Does everything I want - create PDF from Word & eXcel. Merge/extract PDFs. Like the one-off charge (outright purchase).

Negative: Some PDFs cant be read e.g. Microsoft print to PDF. Sometimes have to use Acrobat because PDF Pro can't open it.

Summary: Good and cheap for a retired person to use.

Positive: It was a cheap solution, to edit and read my PDF files.

Negative: I have some PDF files that it does not want to open and gives error, I the still have to use Adobe PDF Reader.

Summary: Very pleased that I choose a pdf creation / editing program that has support team to ensure any issues can be resolved quickly so I was able to continue utilising the program.

Positive: How quickly the PDF Pro team firstly responded to my enquiry and secondly their follow up with a solution.

Negative: I don't have any complaints about the product yet so I can't share any cons.

Summary: Worth it for what it does. Frustrating to see I could have got it half price after is ordered it at full price.

Positive: It is a cheaper alternative to Adobe that does the job. We've used it for over five years and it's worked well, creating pdf and merging PDF documents.

Negative: The annual payment/ update process is a pain. Every year it says Windows 10 may have problems and it's still there. Why it needs a patch after all this time I've no idea.

Summary: I find it really useful. Easy to use, great customer support and it’s good value. PDF’s are everywhere but unless you have a decent editor there is nothing you can do with them. PDF Pro makes them so much more than just readable files.

Positive: It’s easy to use. I can manipulate pdf files however I want, split them up, re-order them, create them, it’s a really useful tool.

Negative: I had some problems with installation but customer support were great and helped me out.

Summary: I had to purchase PDF Pro again because the one I bought one year ago stop working. I'll see what will happen with this one.

Positive: I like the capability for reading and edit PDF files.

Negative: For a first time user who was familiar with Adobe Acrobat reader and editing software, PDF Pro appears harder to use. For example: When I tried to "Add Text" locating those texts was not easy because the cursor does not fall exactly where I wanted to place the exts, so I had to type those texts and relocate them for the desired position. I may find other issues in the future.

Summary: Still a useful tool but would be even better if I didn't have to keep requesting reinstallation links.

Positive: When it is working correctly PDF Pro is every bit as versatile as Adobe Acrobat for most day-to-day needs.

Negative: The big downside is its fragility with any and every update to the PC causing PDF Pro to become inoperative.

Summary: Overall i'm very pleased with the package so far and it works for the main uses i require. I need to spend some time to explore other features to see if these can be of use. Would really like the drag a tab to open a new separate view option as this i need all the time.

Positive: I use the software for creating and editing as well as viewing PDFs.
The editing ability works very well including the page swapping once i got used to it.

Negative: My main frustrations to date are that i can't drag a tab to open a new separate view to allow two PDF's to be viewed at the same time, I have to open one in Adobe. The other is that when i inset a page this is not as easy as there is not option to choose if i want to inset before or after a specific page.

Summary: Read above.

Positive: When the software works, it is pretty good. I really do not have much more to say about a product that requires an uninstall/reinstall every time you turn around!

Negative: I don't use this software that much, but EVERY time I want to use it, I get "License already activated. Please contact support to restore you license." Then I contact support, and have to wait 2 to 4 days for a response, which is a link that I have to follow to uninstall and reinstall the product. NOT KOOL!

Summary: Will get something else. There are much better editors around. Editing PDF documents is a real hole in software. The switch to subscription made Adobe way too expensive for a casual user. I read PDFs daily but edit only once a week or so - just want something basic and cheap. I would at least expect to be able to print on different paper sizes.

Positive: You can do SOME editing, like typewriting and drawing lines. You can use the line drawing to sign documents.

Negative: You can do SOME editing, but there are big things missing. The biggest problem is that you can ONLY print on A4 paper - I read nothing about this limitation anywhere before I bought it and wasted a lot of time trying to print on larger size paper - their Support people confirm you can only print on A4. What other software has this limitation??? None I have bought since the 80s.
Other things are missing like some basic windows commands to zoom etc. Everything has to be done through the menus.
For the price it is so-so value.
