    Summary: Overall for a small nonprofit that is member led by an active board, it is the best product on the market.

    Positive: It allows for us to build board books that can be edited all the way up to the board meeting date, it allows for our board to vote on resolutions all the way up to the meeting date, and it allows for seamless integration into virtual meetings that are required now.

    Negative: Filing system isn't as easy to use as Box or other file management systems. Also, sharing files with large groups is cost prohibitive.

    Summary: One of the selling points for us is the ongoing customer support. The OnBoard team, from customer service to product design, go out of their way to make certain the software works as needed and desired.

    Positive: OnBoard gave Eureka College many more tools to help our board get organized and hold more effective and efficient meetings. It also gave us a central location to keep track of board terms, contact information and a wealth of resources, This allows our board members to stay engaged between meetings.

    Negative: Many of the new tools that have been added to the product since we began using it are separate price points. It would be great if everything could be available to all customers but at least they are there when purchase becomes an option for us.

    Summary: It has reduced the effort that was required in our environment to manage our Board communications and activities. I can't ever imagine going back to the old methods of creating PDFs, putting them in secured files, managing Board responses and alike. Everything is in one place and extremely easy to navigate and access.

    Positive: Centralized portal for all Board activities. This has simplified the process of putting Board packets together, distributed, and filed. It is easily accessed from any device without any limitations to the user's experience. It has significantly helped in the administration of our Board activities. The support is excellent; never have any issues getting assistance when needed.

    Negative: The product development and additional features just keep coming and coming. Sometimes it hard to keep up with all of them. You have to sort through what is really needed, what adds value, and what are just nice to haves. Would like to see the zoom integration be able to use more than one person user's account. It would be helpful to have a checklist when completing functions; there are times I have forgotten to add groups/users to the communication and then didn't realize it wasn't being seen.

    Summary: Our organization has transitioned to the OnBoard Platform this year, managing our 15-member board of trustees. Communication is so easily achieved with OnBoard taking your announcements and meeting schedules and sending automatic meeting notifications to the board. As Assistant to the President, my job in preparing for board meetings has been streamlined with the use of OnBoard as it will take all of your documents which are downloded and create a Meeting Book for you automatically. What I love most is the click-on feature when in the Open Book format which enables you to click on any document within the table of contents automatically without scrolling through all the pages.     Summary: OnBoard has a great support team and is so helpful to eliminate paper waste and help facilitate online meetings. I am so glad we have this in place when COVID-19 hit; we have been able to do our governance business easily and quickly with the software.

    A wonderful time saver

    Summary: I used to spend hours putting together board packets, saving each doc as a pdf and then arranging them into one pdf document, that I emailed around. The document was sometimes big enough that board members' servers rejected it. And then, if something changed just before the meeting, I had to distribute more documents. Now, I can get the packet up but keep adding to or fixing it - and it takes me a quarter of the time. And Board members find it easier to access (even the stodgier ones).

    Positive: It's so easy to put together and to amend board packets, and the board loves the easy access. I easily save several hours each month, at least.

    Negative: In the beginning it was a bit buggy, but in the last 6 months it's been smooth sailing. The Zoom interface is new, and not perfect yet.

    OnBoard Improved our Organizational Governance

    Summary: My overall experience with OnBoard has been great - 10 out of 10! I am always impressed by OnBoards frequent feature upgrades and monthly webinars. They really listen to their client's needs!

    Positive: Ease of use and simplicity is its strongest feature. I manage 10 boards and committees within our organization and OnBoard has improved consistency and communication across all our entities. The implementation and training of new users is seamless; people of all demographics adapted to the software and way of meetings very quickly.

    It is also great to be able to update agendas or meeting materials in real time and the voting feature allows us to be productive in-between meetings.

    Negative: I would like to be able to track meeting attendance over a certain time frame and not meeting-by-meeting, but that is a small issue and not applicable to everyone.

    Summary: Have been using OnBoard for more than 6 months and so far, so good. Really easy to implement and use. Implementation team was really helpful.

    Positive: The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. Agenda creation is a breeze. Once you have it, you can start using it without much training.

    Negative: While is not complicated, group creation and security role for seeing portions of the meeting (for example, the executive session) can be easier.

    Summary: Our overall experience with OnBoard has been wonderful. We very quickly had to become acquainted with OnBoard as we were trying to use it for one of our board meetings that was coming up quickly after buying this software. It was so easy to learn, as well as teach others, and has been a great software for us to use.

    Positive: We utilize OnBoard with our Board of Directors quite frequently, and we love it. OnBoard is super easy to use. Not only is it easy for us to use, but it was easy for us to teach our board how to use. We are able to place board minutes, travel information, bylaws & policies, and also communicate with each other through messenger.

    Negative: I truly tried to think of things that I could write for this section, and give constructive criticism or feedback, and I can't think of anything. We have not encountered any issues with this software at all.

    An Easy to Use Platform

    Positive: OnBoard has been proving itself to be extremely beneficial to our board members. Just the difference from going from paper board packets to full-on digital has saved an enormous amount of time to prepare for board meetings.     Negative: There's not much to not like. At times the iOS app can be a little wonky with not accepting a board member's password. This seems to have been mostly resolved.

    Summary: Great! I don't know what I would do without it. It has also been helpful for remote meetings due to covid.

    Positive: I like how all the books are easy to organize and distribute, how we can use it for Actions without meetings, any documents that need an electronic signature, staff meetings, and as a document library.

    Negative: Can't think of much. It is always improving. It seems to dislike Powerpoints so I have to convert them to PDF before uploading. I wish it would allow you to send an email reminder when Actions are awaiting votes.
