    Excellent Board Management Solution

    Summary: We have been using OnBoard for over a year now and it's been a relatively painless process to integrate our years of "paper" board meetings into an online solution. We find the application to be user friendly - both for admins and the end-users...our very busy board of trustees. Saving them time and making our meetings more efficient has been one of the best outcomes from using OnBoard. The resources feature keeps all of the materials handy plus we've been able to migrate all of the information for orientation of new board members to OnBoard as well. This saves time and money putting all of the information together in one place. Overall, OnBoard has been a tremendous asset to our board and to the processes that support our board.

    Positive: We have been very excited to explore the features of OnBoard over the past year. Being able to move from printing multiple copies of 150 - 200 page agenda books has saved us not only time but a significant amount of money in printing fees. The pros of OnBoard include being able to make last minute agenda changes, addition of supporting documents and updates to the meeting within minutes. This keeps the most up-to-date agenda and information in front of the board at all times making our meetings more efficient and well organized. The solution is easy to navigate with an intuitive dashboard, handy calendar and a Resources function that has become one of our most utilized features.

    Negative: It would be a plus if you could add more personalization to the landing pages of OnBoard. There's really no place to make it look personalized as such. It would also be nice to be able to choose a particular font or font sizes, etc. for the "Announcements" pages.
    Sometimes the Help Center can be overwhelming. There's so much information in the Help section that it can sometimes be difficult to narrow down a search to the specific topic you're looking for.

    Summary: Very easy to use. Saves money from the previous method of sending board packets to nine board members.

    Positive: OnBoard allows me to keep my board informed and all board members on the same page. It is easy to use and has a very small learning curve.

    Negative: At first, I felt certain features were complicated to use but with the constant updates it has become very easy to use.

    Negative: The Survey feature can be upgraded somewhat. It does not give you more options when doing a poll as to where it can automatic chose the best option for you.

    Summary: Our Board members found it easy to learn how to use the site. In March 2020, when everyone was working from home, it was incredibly helpful to have OnBoard already in place for our Board meetings so there was no interruption of access to materials/information.

    Positive: It's easy to learn how to use it, and even if you forget something, it's intuitive enough to figure it out.

    Negative: When we started using the site a year ago, there was a slight delay between typing and having it show up on the the screen, though this has been resolved.

    Great Transition from Paper

    Summary: My experience is positive. Transitioning to the software has saved time and resources when preparing for board meetings and accomplishing tasks such as e-signature during and in between board meetings. Customer support is quick to respond via email or telephone and resolves most issues immediately.

    Positive: The software is very easy to use. It eliminates the need for paper and allows for quick and efficient board packet generation and dissemination. It also makes it extremely easy to make additions and revisions to the disseminated packet.

    Negative: The price continues to increase annually by 4-6% and may exceed the value of the software in the future.
