Negative: There are no dislikes that I have encountered so far.

Summary: I have been using Cvent since 2014 and can say that I have had a great experience over the past 10 years and have seen so many new updates and features rolled out that make me excited to see what they can offer in the future, as well.

Positive: I like having the ability to execute an event from its inception all the way through execution and post-event using all of the Cvent platform whether it be via the Event Management platform, the mobile app, and onsite management.

Negative: The only con I would say is there is a limit to how customized you can make things at a certain point.

Summary: I think if you are looking for an advancing product to manage all of your event needs, this is the product for you.

Positive: It is an easy product to use. I love learning new things as they continue to improve it. It allows a lot of integration features.

Negative: Some features get overlooked when it comes to updating.

Summary: I think Cvent is suitable for my company's needs. However, I would like to see more advancements in the design aspect.

Positive: I like that a lot of event planning aspects are available within the Cvent ecosystem. There are lots of tools to help you learn and navigate all of the Cvent software.

Negative: I don't like that there's a lot of limitations in terms of design flexibility with the website, registration, and emails.

Summary: Has helped our team to work in a more consistent way and gain efficiency. Event management tool connecting with other Cvent product to improve the attendee journey.

Positive: Flexibility, Reporting, Customized attendee experience, Branding opportunities. Ability to create templates

Negative: Information hosted at event level and not able to be copied to other event, i.e. emails.
Very US focus (USD system default currency, no train option in travel actuals).

Summary: Overall the platform is reliable and solves majority of our needs but could use some more customization to allow us to complete all of our needs.

Positive: I like to compatibility of several products and how each feature speaks to each other. Their support and education is also quite extensive.

Negative: Some products are released before they are ready and are missing features that are needed.

Summary: I've been a Cvent user for over five years now with three different employers. However much of a learning curve it has, I missed it when I was, briefly, not using it anymore!

Positive: Cvent can do everything, from your Call for Papers to on-site badge printing, with its strengths being a very thorough registration and emailing system. I've also used it for diagramming, wrangling exhibitors and speakers, and hosting virtual or hybrid events.

Negative: At this point, first diving into Cvent can get a bit overwhelming if you start with a complex event, due to all the features being there and not necessarily knowing where to find what.

Summary: It is a good tool for event management and has external integration capabilities so it can connect with multiple sources.

Positive: Multiple features like attendee management, registrations, rfps, reports for analytical solutions and it has integrations too!!

Negative: The site is slower, and the loading time is a bit longer.

Summary: Overall, this is the only event management platform I have used, but it seems to be the best! I would recommend this product to others.

Positive: I enjoy that there are a ton of features you can use in Cvent. You can pull reports for almost any data you need.

Negative: I don't believe Cvent Community is up to date. When I can't find something, or need help, my team and I open have to message our account rep.

Summary: I've used Cvent for over 8 years and watched it become more user-friendly, develop a better UI for registrants, quickly and efficiently embrace the need for virtual and hybrid events during the pandemic and create a comprehensive and solid product, and strengthen their training and user networking community. Though I've looked at other products over the years, I've never felt like it was worth making a change to give up the capabilities and data Cvent's products offer.

Positive: Cvent is designed for the entire lifecycle of event management. The software has features and modules to cover nearly any scenario you need to manage with integrated data flow, is well-supported, and regularly updated with new features, many developed from user input.

Negative: Because of its flexibility and capabilities, it can take some time to become really fluent in the software. It's also not the cheapest solution; though the core software is robust, to build a full end-to-end solution (with abstract submission, onsite badge printing, an event app, etc.) necessitates the purchase of add-on modules.

Summary: Overall we couldn't run our events without the platform. The ability to keep all our data in one central place and not manage everything through excel sheets that are more prone to human error and GDPR issues is amazing.

Positive: It's a great tool for us to manage our events. It helps us keep things organized, our data streamlined. We can host multiple events at the same time and the ability to create report portals for stakeholders saves a lot of time of us manually doing things. Cloning similar events also saves so much creation time to launch smaller similar events quickly.

Negative: The system operates how it does and there's no room for special needs. Some of the features are clunky or harder to get to than they should be. The websites could use a bit better functionality to look nicer, anything 'nice' you'd want requires hiring their designers as you can't do it yourself.

Summary: Cvent is a great tool for people in the events space. We can manage attendees, communicate with them, build professional looking registration pages, and more!

Positive: Building websites, attendee management, email features reporting. It is nice that it is a one stop shop!

Negative: Website tool isn't free form, complicated back end settings, especially when using translations.

Summary: Cvent Event Management is a powerful tool for event professionals, streamlining event planning and execution while offering robust analytics. It's a top choice for organizations with complex event needs and a budget to match.

Positive: One of the standout features is the event website builder, which allows you to create professional, customizable event websites without any coding skills. This feature alone saves a significant amount of time and effort.

Negative: Cvent's pricing may be a concern for smaller organizations, as it's more suitable for medium to large-scale events. Also, the learning curve for some advanced features can be steep for new users.

Summary: Using Cvent for 10+ years, I see how dedicated they are to improving by adopting the most current technologies and increasing their offerings to become a 1 stop shop. From where they began, to where they are now is really impressive and I imagine they will continue down that path.

Positive: Cvent is the most complete event management solution in the marketplace. From sourcing, to registration, automated emails, event sites, data capture, app, check-in, polling and surveys, marketing automation integration, it does it all.

Negative: Marketo integration could use more flexibility for the out of the box solution.

Summary: Cvent Event Management has helped myself and my director plan and execute events for over 10,000 attendees. Overall, love the product, can’t see myself using another!
