Summary: Cvent Support really goes above and beyond and the training materials and knowledge base are exceptional. There is also a community of users, who are supportive and helpful. Cvent takes events to the next level, expertly addressing every aspect of event planning, from dynamic websites and invitations to registration and virtual merchant services, to travel and venue booking, name badge printing, and robust reporting tools. Nothing in the event cycle is overlooked. They have created the Attendee Hub to make hybrid and virtual events more engaging and interactive. The event app is a great resource for event attendees. Cvent will even send a team of folks to set up and run your registration and check-in process for in-person events.
Positive: Cvent is a robust platform for event management. For massive, complex, large-scale events, there’s nothing quite like it. From recently upgraded function and design on its Flex platform to its seemingly endless features and customization, there’s so much that can be done to streamline, automate, and manage events. Once you create templates for events, registration, email, etc., you can use them over and over again. Cvent Support is available 24/7, and it is the best support I have ever encountered from a tech company.
Negative: There’s a ton of training and so many features that users like me who plan one or two events with under 500 people annually often feel overwhelmed. Cvent Support excels at hand holding and helping sort out issues, but it takes hours out of each week having to stay online with support. I wish the platform were more intuitive and straightforward. The costs add up. Users get charged for all sorts of things. Due to the cost, this is not an ideal platform for one-off events or smaller events.

Good Software but Expensive Date: Oct 22 2020
Summary: This product is expensive for what you get and it does not integrate well with the other products we use. This is not a product I would recommend.
Positive: We have used this product for several years. The product works as expected for event management and I don't have any complaints with the product itself.
Negative: This product does not integrate very well. We have to use a different credit card provider as it only integrates with a few credit card processors. Additionally, the process is manual to get the invoicing into our accounting software.
