Clockify Reviews

Summary: The application is great and would recommend it to other users especially for those who are just starting to have an online time log system.

Positive: In my experience, The application is user-friendly, provides meaningful reports, and great to use especially if you are in a team.

Negative: No warning message when clicking the delete time log, especially when you accidentally clicked it.

Summary: I currently use this for tracking my time for a client I work for, with the billing section and time section which makes my life so much easier.

Positive: Very simplistic and easy to use, very consistent across devices and a good range of categories and projects I can filter my work by.
There is no minimum time that needs to be tracked so I can add 2-3 minutes of work if I need to and it adds to the week total.

Negative: Recently the Clockify app has been crashing on the iPhone but it was repaired with an update.

Summary: I don't know how it works as a team or in a professional setting, however, it suits my needs as a university student, who wants to track their studying time, time spent on little side projects, books I'm reading, extremely well.

(I have not tried support or looked at pricing, as it has what I need in the free version.)

Positive: It's feature-rich, even better, most of the features are free - those that are paid, you typically won't use much (I know I certainly came across them but it didn't affect my usage of the software), but improves QoL a little.

There's a time sheet: a little weekly overview of your projects and the times you spent on each project, and time spent on everything per day, and you can modify each timestamp if need be.

There's the time tracker and even a calendar with a more visual overview of how you've spent your time and where. It has a dashboard and report which are more than comprehensive. There are so many features and little bits to know about Clockify that even after using it extensively for four months, I find out more and more things to make it more fun.

(This is mostly because I got a part-time and can track my billable hours. I mean, who doesn't like seeing those trailing digits.)

Negative: The billable hours - if you set them when you create the project, then you're good to go, but if you set them after you've created entries, then you have to manually go back and edit them - unless you've paid membership.

This is what I mean by QoL - mostly because I didn't have that many entries anyway, but it could be rather frustrating for others.

A little annoyance: you can modify and customise how time is 'organised'. For example, mine is Category > Project > Task. If you choose one of theirs, the page display will show their default, but if you customise it, it seems alright.

The design could be better and easy on the eye - it's why I really wanted to like TogglTrack - but it works and that's what matters at the end of the day.

Summary: I shifted from in-house Time management to Clockify. It was a great decision. This works absolutely amazing on mobile and desktop devices. Remote time tracking is also possible.

Positive: Easy to use, Mobile friendly. It has a lot of features. Works on mobile devices. Works on remote. No major issues seen.

Negative: Ability to export the spreadsheets for monthly and yearly time entries. Everything else seems great.

Summary: Overall is good if we compare it with other paid and unpaid time management tools.

Positive: Easy to access.
Easy to use.
Many detailed data.
Browser-Based Time Logging Enabled.
Easy to track team performance.

Negative: If we compare it with other free-to-use time management tools then Clockify is really a great tool. Didn't find any bad point about it.

Summary: I'm using it with my team for years. Very satisfied with it. While i switched other tools for project management often, Clockify remain a constant solution for time tracking.

Positive: it's so easy to use for time tracking. No Explanation needed at all.
The report module is quite flexible and i was able to create all necessary reports for our team leader and accounting.

Negative: While i can't think of any cons for Clockify, some of the integrations and plugins still would need some attention. They work most of the time, but there is improvement possible.

Summary: I am using Clockify daily to track my effort for different customer and its been working great. Currently I wouldn't want to stop using it.

I would highly recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Positive: - its easy to use
- it gives a great overview
- I can start tracking and choose the description and tags afterwards
- it autocompletes the description if I want to track the same task again
- it shows multiple times grouped if they have the same description
- you can easily create reports with the dashboard

Negative: - I can't filter for specific projects or tags, for example if I want to tell a customer how much time I spent on a project, I need to look trough all entries.

Summary: With my overall experience, even though I was not able to use some of the features, I really am recommending this to a friend or colleague that is looking for an application that's counting your work hours during your shift even if it's the free trial mode. It is user-friendly and you can even download it for your copy!

Positive: I am relieved that I can download and retrieve my clocked work for the past months. I was also impressed with the application and stuck to it since I discovered it some time ago. It was also user-friendly so do not worry if you are not a techie. It's super easy to use and I love it!

Negative: I was not able to use the billable section where you cannot put a number ($) per hour unless you subscribe to the application.

Summary: For an intuitive, effortless time tracking and staff workload management tool, Clockify would be my first choice. This tool is easy to use and install, quick to create custom reports, readable dashboard view.

Positive: I love the fact that this tool can be added as a Chrome extension, making it one of the easiest tools to access.

In addition, the ability to manage team members workloads, generate custom time tracking reports, tag by client and/or project makes this a very versatile option in my toolbox.

Negative: As a small shop, the only thing I don't like about this tool is the inability to create invoices without upgrading my existing plan.

Summary: It saves our time and makes everything easier for us.

Positive: As a freelancer, it makes our lives easier because since we are already loaded with tasks, Clockify helps us with time-keeping and computes accurately.

Negative: None so far. The experience was overall great. Since I am one of the first-time users, it really does help me a lot.

Summary: It's honestly great, nothing too complex and yet I have every feature that help me doing my job. Simplicity is key :D

Positive: Dashboard in Clockify is really simple and allows you to monitor work of every employee, with Clockify I'm able to keep track what my employees do and how much time do they spent on it.

Negative: Normal users cannot see how much money they earned through billing hours, only administrators see amount.

Summary: Clockify is just an amazing tool to keep track of all the work i do for multiple clients and also handle the team with ease.

Positive: The way I can create tasks and clients is just so easy and functional for tracking time and keep everything organized.
Really great tool team handling and now with Pumble I can chat as well.
Other functions like reports gives me idea of how to plan for next projects.

Negative: I don't think you guys have missed any features that one can need for tracking a project progress.

Summary: I like it. Easy, simple, to the point, reliable. It makes my life as a freelancer easier and thus a credible person with the records that I have.

Positive: Easy tools to organise task, make report, grouping tasks, and add meticulous details. I can also predict how much will I get in a month, or if I can have more free time. I get notifications if I forgot to turn the clock off and if my screen is off (sometimes I do sketches by hand, etc). For me it is a good reminder.

Negative: Sometimes the page lags because I work on multiple windows and devices. Perhaps we can have an offline version? So we can work anywhere :)

Summary: It's a good way to keep up with the time spent with each client.
It's good to keep track on which project each team member is working on.

Positive: Easy to install.
Easy to connect.
Easy to interact and keep track of time.
Easy to manage.
Easy to use.

Negative: Sometimes the clock doesn't stop.
It's annoying to adjust when a problem happens.

Summary: Overall experience is really wonderful, I have been using it for a really long time now, and I regret the days I don't use it as these are the ones I waste on doing stupid things.

Positive: Clockify is an amazing tool that I use for my daily life time tracking. It's pros are:

Free.
You can have any number of projects/workspaces/tasks, etc.
It does not really have a limit and you can save so many entries, so you don't fear for exhausting any kind of limited criterion.

Negative: Its UI can be changed a little bit and can be made more modern as it looks a little old right now. Some more design changes that introduces new features would be very welcome.
