Description
As technology progresses, the persistent and evolving danger of cybersecurity threats emerges, with some risks even originating from unsecured printers. IT departments particularly gain significant advantages by freeing themselves from tedious maintenance and support chores related to networked printers, enabling executives to concentrate on strategic, mission-critical tasks. This shift allows for the elimination of redundant vendors and reduces both the costs and time associated with juggling multiple services and support agreements. Furthermore, by automating maintenance request processes, organizations can ensure that supply orders are filled in a timely manner, while prompt support responses enhance system uptime. By effectively managing and monitoring your printing environment, Managed Print Services (MPS) provide valuable insights into your organization’s printing behaviors and supply requirements through comprehensive usage tracking. Ultimately, this leads to more efficient operations and a better understanding of resource allocation across the company.
Description
The fundamental operation of PFM involves establishing your own business network to gather data from connected devices, allowing for centralized management and oversight through a single account interface. After logging into your PFM Cloud account, you can set up customer accounts, which may include service providers and their associated subaccounts. Client accounts are those that host the rented devices, enabling efficient organization. PFM Cloud interacts with an application known as PFM Agent, which should be installed within the network housing the devices; this application is responsible for transferring the gathered data back to your cloud account. Furthermore, PFM Agent ensures the security of the information by transmitting it through a completely secure and encrypted connection. Additionally, for each customer account, you can conduct multiple installations, necessitating the configuration of a PFM Agent for every client account added to your business network, thereby facilitating the aggregation of all distinct network locations. This interconnected system not only streamlines data management but also enhances operational efficiency across various customer accounts.
