Summary: I couldn't run my business without P3. It is vital to organizing, ordering and overall managing my jobs. I have used P3 for 11 years and completed over 13,500 jobs. Technical support is exceptional as well.

Positive: Exceptional program to quote, manage and order printed materials. I searched for weeks trying to find the absolute BEST print managing software. Once I found P3, it was exactly what i was looking for!

Negative: Wish it had the ability to print shipping labels and track the deliveries.

Summary: My overall feedback is very positive for this product. Vendors also find it easy to input quotes. All emails back and forth are saved in the notes tab for any questions or backup if needed.

Positive: I like the ease of use, interaction with vendors and the reporting function. I can use the supplied reports or create my own.

Negative: A "click and drag" function for files would be a great upgrade.

Summary: The pros far out weigh the cons for me. I've been using P3 since 2008 and it has never let me down. I have frequently recommended it to others. Without P3 I simply couldn't run my business.

Positive: This software has been built for my industry.
It's affordable.
It saves me loads of time.
It's reliable.
Their support is first class and has never let me down.

Negative: It's not in the cloud so I can't use it on my Chromebook or my phone.
It relies on Java which I can't install on my Chromebook so I can't use it natively on that device either.
It doesn't integrate with any third party apps.

Summary: I'd be lost without P3. Management at our biz is regularly looking for a software tool that could be more 'integrated' with our other tools and I try my best to steer them away from that cliff. My job would be massively more difficult and time consuming if I didn't have P3.

Positive: P3 is in my opinion the best tool on the market for print brokers. We've tried other tools on the market but none of them work as seamlessly as P3 does. The development team is regularly pushing updates that actually make the product better (looking at you, big tech) and support is quick to respond.

Negative: I can't really name anything that is an issue for me with P3. It can do as much or as little as you need it to do.

Summary: Simple but superior! When I first used P3 I was a daily user and knew little about systems. It was so easy to learn and navigate it improved my turn time on projects. On the rare occasion when I need a custom report their customer service is available and excellent. I have been in this industry for over 20 years, used many different cumbersome systems and was pleasantly surprised in 2008 when we got P3. I knew that as long as I'm the decision maker for buying, my team will use P3. Overall, it really is the best!

Positive: Efficient and easy RFQ process both for the buyer and the supplier; option to use multiple specs and copy jobs saving valuable time; option to use for non-print item. Great reporting, cost analysis and supplier management, all resulting in a very robust system.

Negative: Very minor con: Under our customer list summary page there is an active check mark, you can't deactivate it to remove outdated customers. You must go into the detailed record of each customer to deactivate and save. It would save time during maintenance of system records if we could bulk deactivate.

Summary: I have been using P3 to run my print procurement business since I started it in 2017. After trialling multiple software options that didn't seem to have all that I needed or were too complicated I gave P3 a trial and loved it. Everything was easy to use and I set it up myself with minimal fuss (Bob even gave me a discount as I hardly needed any training!)

Positive: Ease of use, functionality and able to send RFQ's to multiple suppliers. Tracking of jobs and the ability to generate custom reports.

Negative: Nothing that is worth mentioning, any issues get fixed or have an easy workaround.

Summary: Overall, P3 is a powerful, robust application that I really could not manage my RFQs without.

Positive: I use it for sending bid requests, and it's become invaluable to me in job specification and managing those requests.

Negative: The job numbers don't sort sequentially, due to Java.

Summary: P3 works exactly the way I would have designed it if I was trying to design it for our business use.

Positive: I really love how simple P3 is to use while being robust enough to manage the variety of work we do! I've especially been very happy with their customer service on those rare, very rare, occasions that I've need them.

Negative: I cannot think of any "cons" for P3, I'm sorry.....

Summary: Very easy to use, worth every penny! Info is at your fingertips and you can customize to fit your company and individual preferences. Easy to navigate. We are a small buying team and it really streamlines our workflow and increase our productivity.

Positive: RFQ process; Supplier Management & ratings; costing reports; search features; options on how to enter project specs. This can be used for more than just print projects!

Negative: Would like more font options and sizes. I really don't have any cons related to how our teams uses P3.

Summary: I have worked with other source programs for years and enjoyed the benefits of this program for the last 10+ years.

Positive: The ability to check several vendors at once and coordinate the stages of the estimate process. Also, the ability to compare on a chart at different quantities to find the sweet spot for each.

Negative: We sometimes work as a group but the company is not willing to pay for additional licenses.

Summary: Easy to use. My vendors love the format and how it works. Great Customer Service when needed. I have been using this software since 2008. I have zero need to look for an alternative.

Positive: Complex, but easy to use. Allows me to buy print in a variety of ways, in a simple way. Easy to store several templates. Easy to review bid reports.

Negative: None at all. I honestly cannot think of one con to list here.

Summary: We have used this software for nearly 7 years and would be lost without it. How companies do their print buying over emails is a mystery!

Positive: P3 has helped us to keep pricing competitive and ensures everyone is working to exactly the same spec.

Negative: Unfortunately you can't open two jobs at the same time.

Summary: Overall experience is good, especially once you know what works and what doesn't. It's been very helpful to keep everything in one place and it's easy to look up jobs when I need to look up and/or provide information.

Positive: You create your specifications and send to multiple vendors at once. They respond through the system. That way you don't need to decipher each vendor's quote, which can be odd and time-consuming.
All the information I need is there, and fairly easy to consult.
Besides Print, I've had to adapt it's use to other realms of my work (translations & ADA remediation). Once your vendors familiarize with it, you have everything under the same system.

Negative: There is no way to save without changes. If you type something different over previous information, you're doomed. There's no going back to how it was when you originally opened the window.
You can't open more than one job at a time. This feature would be very helpful to compare or copy information between jobs.
Drop-down menu windows are too narrow, and when you have more than one item with similar name and the difference at the end, you can't see it and have to do a trial and error. It's a bit frustrating.
You can't attach more than one file at a time. You need to do it individually.
Also, every time you open the window to attach a file, and you select where the file is, the settings on how the list is displayed goes to a default and you have to adjust it every time. It would be good if it kept the last used list in the order you selected previously.
Not sure if it's only for Mac users, but to copy/paste to/from certain fields, you can't use the Command (⌘) key, you must use the Control key. Command only works for certain fields.
I wish there was a way to search by Specification fields.
The interface is really outdated. It looks like a product from the 90s.

Summary: Our migration to P3 was surprisingly pain free and even though we're a Canadian customer we've really appreciated the responsiveness and helpfulness we've experienced in all avenues of their support. Managing sub-contracted work has never been easier and cost analysis options are thorough and easy to use.

Positive: I'm a big fan of the ease in which P3 makes dealing with multiple quotes from multiple vendors simple and stress free. Juggling multiple vendors and alternate options on estimates becomes pretty straightforward with this software.

Negative: Some of the features are a bit more hidden than I'd like but once you find them they are huge time-savers.
