    Summary: DocketManager is the ideal Management Information System for Printers.
    The features currently available have outstanding capability to streamline workflow, process information, and allow users a quick and simple interface for their day to day tasks. The quarterly version updates release major features and improvements to existing ones. Suggested from the growing forum community, are also incorporated, allowing the system to endlessly improve.

    Setup:
    The system is not as daunting to get into with all the support and solutions available. You are well assisted with importing your current clients, inventory, department items, presses and other important details. The setup has step by step actions that once complete, will have you ready to start quoting with various stocks, presses, and department items. Templates are created that help your users begin a quote from an already existing, pre-defined order item, that only needs slight touch-ups, to become a final quote.

    Support:
    DocketManager offers various methods of providing their users with solutions to their Questions, Issues or Setup Assistance. There is on-screen help that can guide you through various actions. Tooltips that describe the purpose of each field. Solutions that describe how to utilize the current page. Videos that inform you of the capabilities. If you are really struggling, asking the Forum or submitting a Support Ticket can get you a quick response.

    Day to Day:
    Everyone at your facility has their role, and nobody is neglected when using Docke Manager. Your users may deal with various areas of the system, and all of them have features that make things easier to work with and manage. Almost every page within the system has the capability for Bulk Actions, it is really easy to make the same adjustment over all 5 or 20 items within an order. It is also easy to quickly change the Sales Rep of a few new customers from one to the other. So when you need to do a lot, you only need to do a little.

    Workflow:
    Keeping track of all the orders that are in the system, and knowing where they are in your facility is important. DocketManager gives you a full visual overview of your Production. Each order is associated with a production queue at all times, and this means you know where it is, but also if its on time. The Production screen can display various due dates that would inform the user if it needs to be pushed ahead. Users now have the ability to see their own Queue, it is the Active User Queue, allowing them to see all of the order items that are assigned to them, so that they know what is coming, and will need to get done.

    Customization:
    You can fully adjust the information displayed for each Production Queue separately that allows for a better experience for the user. Each Queue can be adjusted to display the information that pertains to the user most likely to use it. The filters that help the user find what they are looking for can be also organized in their preferred order. Sorting of the order items within the queue can be changed on the user's preference, and a custom search can be saved for frequent use.
    Document Templates are the best, any document has access to hundreds of universal tags that can display information pertaining to a particular customer, order, item, quote, shipment, payment, etc... on the specific document, may it be a quote, packing slip, shipping label, invoice, or workorder.

    Online Ordering:
    There is no other system that does it better than DocketManager. Their Portals and Themes are easily constructed and adjusted. Products are set up very quickly as they can just be converted from an existing quote or order, and the only addition is to configure their online settings. Clients love being able to order their stationery or marketing materials online, either static or variable data products. The Variable data products let users input their details and generate a live preview of their print material. With the addition of Customer Goods keeping track of inventoried products is easy, as any order placed online will deplete and your inventory is updated automatically.

    There are countless more features that make the difference between a difficult MIS and one that helps the user with their workload. DocketManager is a system that is unlike the rest and does it right.
    The sooner you get DocketManager the sooner you can reap the benefits.
    It is not worth the delay to stick with something else that isn't giving you attention. If you want a system that is up to date, with the latest capabilities, DocketManager is for you.

    Positive: DocketManager is hosted externally and requires no internal hardware to host. The software is accessible online from any location. This allows me to work remotely and support multiple businesses. Business sales reps are also able to access it from their mobile devices, to check up on order workflow, create a quote on the spot, and send direct emails, with custom generated files, directly from the online system. The workflow is well designed, from when you create a quote, convert it into an order, as it runs through production, to when it's shipped. Each section of DocketManager has a straight forward user interface, that places content into locations where you would expect to find it. DocketManager also features an online ordering store functionality. This allows us to create custom online portals for clients. We are able to offer them an easy method for re-ordering generic material or to order custom variable data products. This system is really great as a MIS and a W2P combo, all in one package. They keep making improvements and updates do not cost anything. There is an online forum where DocketManager customers are able to make feature requests, and many of them are always chosen to be implemented into the next release. The software improves for the community, and there is great communication between the customers and DocketManager.

    Negative: Online Ordering is great at B2B, but not optimized for B2C. B2C will hopefully be improved within a few versions. It's capable of B2C at this time, but I think there are a few more features that are required to make it really work.

    Summary: Overall, I love this software. It has greatly improved my day to day running of our company. The fact that I can easily input and update products on our customers' portals is a huge bonus, and I don't pay extra for that feature!
    Best pricing software I've used in my 40+ years in this business.

    Positive: - Simple to use

    - Great GUI
    - Excellent support team
    - Built in customer portals are a huge bonus
    - Time saving

    Negative: - I'd like to see shipping integration with ShipTime
    - Speed... sometimes slowish, but is expected with a cloud-based software
