Description

Grandstream Wave is a complimentary softphone application that enables users to initiate and receive voice calls via up to six different business or residential SIP accounts on any Android device, no matter where they are in the world. It is compatible with a range of codecs such as G.711µ/a, G.722 (HD audio), G.726-32, G.729, GSM, iLBC, Opus, and Speex, ensuring high-quality communication. The app boasts robust security features, including SIP over TLS and encryption options with 128/256-bit SRTP. Users can participate in audio conferences with up to six participants and utilize 24 virtual BLF keys, making it ideal for team collaboration. It supports the management of six SIP accounts and offers seamless integration with mobile devices, incorporating features like contact lists, call history, and customizable ringtones. Furthermore, it includes advanced enterprise capabilities such as IP PBX integration, BLF, call transfer and pickup, call recording via UCM, and LDAP support. Users can benefit from automatic call forwarding that adjusts based on time and geographic rules, enhancing flexibility. The app also fully integrates with Grandstream’s UCM-series of IP PBXs and allows users to effortlessly create QR codes for automatic provisioning. In addition, it facilitates voice channel switching among Bluetooth, earphones, speakerphones, and 3.5mm headsets, while also supporting two-way video calls using SIP and the H.264 video codec, making it a versatile communications tool.
