Description
Your rating will rise if you outperform the system's expectations and drop if you underperform, irrespective of the match outcome. Ratings remain stable when there is a difference of over 10 points between opponents unless the lesser-rated player triumphs. Moreover, ratings are only influenced when both competitors possess a Tencap rating. Players can obtain a Tencap rating by either being the sole member of a doubles team without one or by competing against someone with a Tencap singles rating. Additionally, any set where the winner fails to achieve at least 4 games is excluded from rating calculations. With each match played, the Rating Confidence will increase, influenced by how accurately your opponents are rated and the variety of players faced. Ultimately, rating modifications are determined by Tencap's innovative algorithms, which function on the premise that greater accuracy in ratings leads to less fluctuation in a player’s rating. This system ensures that players are rewarded not only for their performance but also for the consistency and quality of their matches.
