Description
Similar to other models within the CCR2004 series, this CCR is equipped with the Annapurna Labs Alpine v2 CPU, which boasts four 64-bit ARMv8-A Cortex-A57 cores, each operating at a speed of 1.7GHz. The standout feature of this router, however, is its ability to outperform all prior CCR models when it comes to single-core performance, a critical factor for demanding tasks that rely heavily on per-connection processing, such as managing queues. In addition to this, it excels in providing the best single-core performance per watt and overall efficiency per watt compared to any other CCR device, making it an environmentally friendly choice that also helps reduce costs. The router is designed with 18 wired ports, consisting of 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ cages, ensuring ample connectivity options. Furthermore, it includes a full-size USB port and an RJ-45 console port conveniently located on the front panel. True to the CCR design, it comes housed in a sleek 1U rackmount case in a classic white finish. It is equipped with dual redundant power supplies, alleviating concerns about power reliability, and features an active cooling system to maintain optimal operating temperatures. With all these advancements, this router not only sets a new standard in performance but also emphasizes energy efficiency, making it an exceptional choice for both enterprise and home users alike.
Description
Keil® MDK stands out as the ultimate software development package for Arm®-based microcontrollers, encompassing all necessary elements for crafting, building, and troubleshooting embedded applications. The foundation of MDK-Core lies in µVision (exclusive to Windows), offering exceptional support for Cortex-M devices, especially with the introduction of the advanced Armv8-M architecture. Within MDK, users gain access to the Arm C/C++ Compiler, which is accompanied by an assembler, linker, and highly efficient run-time libraries designed for optimal code size and performance. Additionally, users can enhance MDK-Core at any moment by integrating Software Packs, allowing for seamless updates in device support and middleware that are independent of the toolchain. These packs consist of device support, CMSIS libraries, middleware, board support, code templates, and illustrative example projects. Furthermore, the integrated IPv4/IPv6 networking communication stack is augmented with Mbed™ TLS, facilitating secure online connections. This powerful tool is ideal for product evaluation, smaller projects, and educational purposes, although it does impose a restriction on code size to a maximum of 32 Kbytes, making it suitable for various embedded applications while still being resource-efficient.
