We evaluated Uptrends and CloudRadar, Datadog, CloudRadar and Pingdom and came up with our solution. It was based on the following requirements. Cloud-based SaaS solution. Small and lightweight agent. Fast configuration interface. Maintenance windows that work. Geotargeting at the city level. All graphs embedded. Push notifications for any alert. Process monitors with rollup. Dashboard alerts. Our solution's core is a lightweight (2.1 MB) server agent. Once it is "paired", it will begin reporting a "heartbeat once per minute to our API from within your network. Monitor, analyze, improve, and optimize website performance and end-user experience.
