This CCR, like the other models in the CCR2004 series also features the Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine v2 processor with 4x 64 bit ARMv8–A Cortex–A57 cores. The router can run at 1.2 GHz while the CPU is still running at 1.2 GHz. However, it can be 3x faster than the previous generation CCR's. This is the silent powerhouse. You can enjoy all the power and tranquility of a CCR in peace. You can get rid of the hum and buzz in your studio, homelab, server room, or office without sacrificing performance. The new router features 18 wired ports, including 16x Gigabit Ethernet port and two 10G SFP+ boxes. The router also features a RJ45 console port on its front panel. Each group of 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports are connected to a separate Marvell Amethyst family switching-chip. Each switch chip has a 10Gbps full-duplex line connecting to the CPU. The same applies to each SFP+ cage, which has a separate 10 Gbps full duplex line. The boards come with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 128MB NAND storage.
