If you aren't a fan of The Straight Dope (or are ignorant to it), today's entry is one of the reasons I love to read it: When zombies take over, how long until we lose electricity?

Oh, and everyone that I know that has said "Pineapple on pizza.... ewww..." usually change their tune when they actually try it. I suggest also adding some pig to the dish (most like ham, but I'm a pinapple-and-bacon type guy... hell, if you are feeling macho, throw some pork chops on that bitch!). And I do have sicilian blood in me (25%, thank you), so your laws mean NOTHING to me :-P

Hey, I'm Swedish primarily and I'll send over Bjorn to break your 1/4 Sicilian thumbs unless you post a retraction of your support for that travesty!!! I've tried it--thrice. It's NOT pizza, it's a fruity hippy pie! ;)

Wherever I have gone in the world that has had pizza, the "Hawaian" - or ham and pineapple - has been available. I am shocked that anyone wouldn't already have had this kind of pizza. In England they had corn. Some places have tuna. Some places have chicken and feta.

But everywhere has Hawaian, don't they?

  Personally, I'd try anything except the Sinister vegan pizza. I really like pizzas with hot as hell double chillies.

(even the tomato sauce is pushing it)

My favorite pizzas are:
1. Any of the following (alone or in combination: Sausage, Bacon, Burger, Pepperoni, Ham, Chicken, Steak, Capicola, Pork, Onion, Green Peppers.
2. In addition to the above, you can add either Ranch Dressing (for dipping) or some BBQ marinated meat.
3. My favorite "specialty" Pizza is "Taco Pizza". Medium or thin crust (thick is too doughy). Use taco sauce instead

    Actually, Pittsburgh is more german and slovak than italian. Yes, we have our italians, but they are a spall minority compared to the german and slovaks. I mean, you see a lot more Kielbasi and Pirogi than lasagne and baked ziti.

        Interesting, but a little more detail on the definition of PittMSA would be nice. McKees Rocks is not represented in the figures given. Austria was listed as country of origin in the 1910/1920 Census, but today it can be claimed to be Croatia. And god help you if you say they are German.
