Journal bubblegoose's Journal: Lesbians everywhere! 10

Not my first choice of bands, but tonight we went to see the "Indigo Girls". My GF picked up the tickets, and no she's not a lesbian, although her gay friend from college also went along.

You may be asking "Jeff, were there a lot of lesbians there". My answer to you would be a resounding "Yes!" All of the lesbians for a 10 mile radius around Reading PA were probably there. There was a pair of cute ones sitting in front of me. There were also a lot of scary scary ones with short spiky bleached blond hair.

The Indigo Girls put on a pretty good show. Next up for me, John Mayer next week. I am going to see The Alarm the week after that. I saw The Alarm on VH1s Bands Reunited and I'm not sure if those are the guys who are touring.

My aunt (who lived in Reading (Mulberry St.) until two years ago when she moved to Kenhorst) is going to a lesbian wedding this weekend (couple is from Reading, the one grew up with my aunt). I think the couple was busy still with wedding plans and such and I'm sure they didn't go.

The more feminine dressed of the two was giving the more masculine dressed a back rub and putting her hand in the Bull one's back pocket.

I saw a very brief new item on that. In the tiny image over the newscaster's shoulder it looked like Rosie was marrying Hillary Clinton.

  • Shortly after Indigo Girls released their self-titled first album, I got the chance to interview them and Michelle Shocked [amazon.com] for my college radio station [sonoma.edu].

The Indigo Girls, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, were so nice and both have such a vast knowledge of folk and rock music. Great time.

Michelle Shocked was cool, too, but she was more focused on a local issue with the SFPD and charges of abuse, than she was on her music.

Amy and Emily played Closer to Fine, Blood and Fire, and a Dylan song: Baby, Let Me Follow

Byte your tongue.
