Or at least partially. This certainly makes libertarianism more tempting- I'm for regulation of the free market, because it's obvious that an unregulated market will oppress people. But some of these regulations are just silly.

No, not the regulations, that people are complaining about them. We all know that you need permits and licenses to do various things, even on your own property and even if you're not really making much money.
The one that especially gets me is that they're upset that you can't sell milk to your neighbor. Guess what? No one is allowed to sell raw milk... it's a health hazard. But of course if you throw out all the FACTS in the case, you come up with "you can't milk your own cow and sell the milk to your neigh

But you're trolling right now yourself... so, I suppose, the proper advice here from you is that I should ignore you then?

Almost all the raw milk cases I've read of, did cross state lines, and that's why the feds got involved. I grew up drinking raw milk, sometimes from cows, sometimes from goats, all the time milked by my own hand- so I know the "It's a health hazard" is a total crock. Improperly stored, a couple of days

This specific case is in reference to girl scouts not being able to sell cookies on their own property (the area isn't zoned for business, and they don't have a vendors permit anyway) as well as the shutting down lemonade stands for not having a permit as well.
These are LOCAL permits and have nothing to do with the federal government as all. Because, as you noted: unless it goes across state lines, it shouldn't be necessary to get a federal permit to do this stuff... but surprise, it doesn't. It does howeve
