  • No, not the regulations, that people are complaining about them. We all know that you need permits and licenses to do various things, even on your own property and even if you're not really making much money.

The one that especially gets me is that they're upset that you can't sell milk to your neighbor. Guess what? No one is allowed to sell raw milk... it's a health hazard. But of course if you throw out all the FACTS in the case, you come up with "you can't milk your own cow and sell the milk to your neigh

And only the stupid among us never stop to ask "WHY?"

So is Tobacco.. a product that's completely legal. But that's besides the point - if a person wants to buy raw milk from their neighbor, why should you give a flying fuck? It doesn't affect you. Quit being an obnoxious little busybody and mind your

This specific case is in reference to girl scouts not being able to sell cookies on their own property (the area isn't zoned for business, and they don't have a vendors permit anyway) as well as the shutting down lemonade stands for not having a permit as well.

These are LOCAL permits and have nothing to do with the federal government as all. Because, as you noted: unless it goes across state lines, it shouldn't be necessary to get a federal permit to do this stuff... but surprise, it doesn't. It does howeve
