Most of the complaints seem to revolve around the bureaucracy, which in as large an org as Google, aren't exactly surprising. As for the hiring process, it does seem lame, but it obviously works to Google's benefit. If/when they start slipping and demand falls, watch for that to be streamlined right quick.
