Chacham's Journal: Slashdot Habits: No front-page reads in two months, JE slow.

Well, it's been a couple months since i have read the front page, and i find that i no longer have any interest either. I still like the JEs, however, but the interesting ones are few and far between. Methinks i will be checking my messages less often, but that is just a thought.

Some potty-mouth has been using my handle as the subject of his comments. I find it both amusing and ironic. I wish my followers were better trained.

Well, I could have been derivative (some other barnyard onomatopeia), but I thought it more fitting to directly reference the source. Credit where credit's due and all that.

I find it both amusing and ironic.

I still scan the headlines, but it is all pretty predictable -- selected flamebait articles (or spun to be*), to froth up the juvenile and the loony. And we all know what topics and slants on them will work up the masses here.

*I'm seeing people complaining in the discussions that the (flamebait) summaries don't match the articles.

I get the main page over in Google reader, where the obvious marketing pitchiness is even more painfully apparent.
