Journal pudge's Journal: Freud Was a Moron 8
The unhinged left is going ga-ga over Tom Ridge responding to a question about John McCain showing he is different from George Bush, and he said "John Bush." This, they tell us, was a clear Freudian slip, proving that Ridge does seem them as the same.
If that's the case, then I suppose Ted Kennedy really believes Barack Obama is the same as Osama Bin Laden.
I would ask if we could stop being stupid now, but I unfortunately know the answer.

While I can't begin to understand or predict the specifics, I'm betting the first three words out of the mouths of the others will be, "But that's different..."
Yep, yep.
When I saw a reply to this, before I saw who replied, I was thinking that someone might be saying "but that's different ..."
No, it's not. Also not different? McCain saying Shia/Sunni, or Iran/Iraq. I call people and things the wrong names ALL THE TIME, including close relatives.

So, is a gaffe just a gaffe, or are all of these things really Freudian slips? If they want to play nasty, fine, I'll trade you a Tom Ridge "McCain-is-Dubya" slip for an Obama "Allahu Akbhar!" moment...

Ridge's slip was inopportune... and was therefore very funny.

No, I'm saying they like to hear stupid things. Stupid, ridiculous, hysterical, asinine talk excites them, and asking them to refrain from that is like asking the GOP to please not talk about the things that pull the strings of its base.
