Journal pudge's Journal: Illogic and the Constitution 5
I'm going to be looking for [judicial nominees] who respect that the Constitution is an organic, growing, evolving set of principles that have stood the test of time.
I can't tell if she doesn't know what "organic, growing, evolving" means, or if she doesn't know what "that have stood the test of time" means. But I am fairly certain this accurately reflects her views, and the views of most Democrats.

I actually admire this; it takes skill, or at least good staff, to serve up such a steaming pile, and decent acting skills to deliver it with a straight face.
I also deplore the fact that the media and the electorate ain't got hair #1 to call her bluff.
For my tax money, the Amendments are the "organic, growing, evolving" component of the Consitution, and all of these novel contemporary schemes to tweak the Document should be put to the Amendment test, or simply scuttled. Several half-assed attempts do amount to so many ass wholes, but not a Constitution.

Used to have a co-worker here (he left awhile ago, thankfully) that was very similar. When we had meetings with vendors and engineers, his ability to BS would kick in, and I swear it was awe-inspiring to the point of being almost hypnotic. You'd swear he was the lynchpin that held the whole division together. Was amazing that one can have that much ability, yet be almost completely useless at actually doing real work.
Although, I think I'd almost be happy for a president that was like that: talked a lot,
