Journal nizo's Journal: My subnet is banned aughhhh 1

Sadly slashdot has decided to ban my subnet (a local ISP) so all must suffer who use this ISP. Since no one has responded to the mail I have sent, I am left to wonder how long this ban will be in place? Anyone encountered this before?

Update 7/20/2004: Yep still banned. Brilliant. On the upside I have been wasting less time on slashdot, so there is a good side to everything. Perhaps Slashdot should continue to ban people until they have no readers or posters left? I can post through other means, but hey I figure why should I?

    My recommendations:

    If you're a subscriber: do not renew

    Once your subscription lapses, use an ad blocker so they don't get cash that way either.

    Find another way to post and include a link to your relevent journal entry in your sig.

    Don't quit bitching about it. Their attitude "it's our site" fails to carry weight if they take donations/subscriptions.
