Some Woman's Journal: Just a little harmless weekend spying...

So after we embraced our geekiness, we were drawn away from the Gamecube by the faint sound of yelling. This, of course, then lead to a 3 hour spying on the neighbors mission. It was like a feature-length soap opera.

Synopsis: PJ was trying to break up with Guy. PJ cheated on Guy with Mark on Monday March 8, 2004. The Bitch told Guy about said indiscretion. I guess that makes her not PJ's friend anymore. Guy still wanted to be with her. The last time they had sex was Monday March 22. ILoveMexicanFood is a friend of PJs and lives in the same house (he's gay if that matters).

Setting: Perfect breaking up weather. It was 11:00 at night. Dark, with drizzling rain.

Discussion was a little more tame this time around, so it was difficult to be stealthy and hear every word. It seemed to be more of the same. They went inside after about 15 minutes outside.

Audience Analysis: The only character that I really felt a connection with was ILoveMexicanFood. He was thoughtful and considerate, while being firm that Guy should just leave.

Both PJ and Guy seem to have their own issues. PJ can't seem to be assertive enough- she invited Guy in after insisting that they were through. Then there's the cheating thing. I think that she wanted out of this relationship before March 8, but again was not assertive enough to seek such a break. Guy is controlling and possessive. He is also pushing the relationship too hard. In the future he might want to consider going a little slower with relationships. I also sensed a hint of a Napoleonic Complex.

The acting overall was good. The script was comic genius, though we think generous portions of it had to be lifted from somewhere. It was sometimes difficult to maintain our composure, and thus our cover.

I changed the spelling due to public outcry. It had an extra vowel, but the consonants lobby didn't much care for that.
