Profane MuthaFucka's Journal: Pudge the stud on Studds

Pudge wrote a journal entry regarding the sex scandal which caused the Florida Republican Rep. Foley resignation. Read it here. http://slashdot.org/~pudge/journal/144985

I can't write anything there, since I'm Pudge's foe. I wonder why? Once again, Pudge lies about the situation, and twists the facts.

Fact one: What Foley and Studds both did was not illegal. The age of consent in Washington DC is 16. They are not pedophiles.

Fact two: The right demonizes Studds for being gay. Whenever any American is attacked for being who they are, we will stand up for him. Pudge, you're a fucking bully for picking on Studds here.

Fact three: Studds and the 17 year old stood up and loudly announced that their affair was consensual, they didn't regret it, and it was NONE of anybody's business. During the hearing where Studds was censured, he turned his back to the panel. Studds didn't do anything wrong.

Fact four: Well, it's an opinion, really. Foley was fucking CREEPY when he got on the Internet to talk dirty to the page. Not illegal, but this is almost as creepy as the Skype sex story I posted two diaries ago. I think everybody realizes that this is just plain weird behavior. Even Foley himself knows it, and gave up quickly.

Fact five: Rep. Foley is a Republican, and Republicans don't like gay people. Rep. Foley is therefore a hypocrite. Democrats don't face that problem, because our values embrace all of the community. Studds wasn't hurt because he was no hypocrite in his moral system.

Fact six: Republicans are plain EVIL if they won't let Rep. Foley be the person he was meant to be. Obviously Foley is gay, and that's who and what he should be. Any system that would keep one of my fellow Americans in the position of denying who he is must be destroyed.

And that's all the stuff that Pudge lied about.

I'm getting a real taste for this. I'm going to write regularly on moral politics, and I think the first article is going to be about the Right's obsession with hypocrisy.

My favourite part is one of his sycophant's responses: "Typical liberal tactic to end the situation"- whatever.
