The Nintendo WiiU was only released yesterday in the USA and already Homebrewers can enjoy playing their games and emulators on the system. WiiU News has a video of the homebrew game Connect 4 working on the WiiU via the consoles Wii Mode and Comex's "Stack Smash" exploit. How long before Nintendo close this door ?

In these days where times are hard and we can`t all afford iPads with their high price, Kindle Fire which although cheaper is still around the $150 price and promises of a $10 dollar laptop which later shot up to $100. Android News has found an Android Tablet that sells for a measly 50 Dollars, for that you get a 7 Inch screen, Front Facing Camera, 4GB of Expandable Storage and an OS running Android 2.2 Froyo. For that price though do you get a usable Tablet ?

Nintendo have today fired the first salvo in the Next Gen Console Wars with the release of their WiiU Console in the USA, a console which is massively more powerful than the Nintendo Wii and also the PS3/Xbox 360(so they claim). Yet again Nintendo have done a world first and released a gamepad which is also a Tablet and should provide us with games that stretch the boundaries even more. Wii Games are compatible with the console as is the WiiRemote. The WiiU comes in 2 SKUs a 32GB Deluxe package and an 8GB Basics pack. The Games line up is a strong one with games such as New Super Mario Bros U, Arkham City Armoured Edition, Assassins Creed 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Sonic AllStars Racing, Nintendo Land, Tank Tank Tank, ScribbleNauts Unlimited, Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two, ESPN Sports Connection, DarkSiders 2, Rabbids Land, Mass Effect 3, Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Wipeout 3 and Just Dance 4 all available on Launch Day. Will this console be able to fight off Tablets such as the iPad and Kindle Fire HD?

The wait is over for the biggest video game release of the year, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has just been released and if your the owner of a Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or PC then its time to get fragging. The PSVita also gets its own Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified which is also being released today. New features include quadrotor guns and the Cognitive Land Assault Weapon. Activision will be hoping that there isnt a replay of Call of Duty: Black Ops which was the Most Pirated Game of the Year last year.

This may be one of those projects that will get trounced on soon enough like the great Bleemcast Project, but a group of developers calling themselves the PPSSPP Project have released the first PSP Emulator for the Android OS, the emulator lets you play PSP Games with a touchscreen which was something PSP owners had wanted for years. At the moment games that are playable are Puzzle Bobble Deluxe, Puyo Pop Fever & Pinball Fantasies. The emulator has also been released for Windows and BlackBerry.

Amazon have finally brought their Kindle Fire Android Tablet over to Europe with the release of the Kindle Fire HD, this is Amazon's effort to compete with the Apple iPad/iPad Mini and other Android Tablets such as the Nexus 7 and the Nook HD. The Kindle Fire HD has a new build, much improved display, front facing camera. Its taller than the original Kindle Fire (7.6 Inches) and a little wider (5.4 Inches), slimmer and lighter, yet the actual screen size is bigger. Amazon are also releasing a slightly more powerful original Kindle Fire for Europe and the UK.

A few weeks ago Sony released the 500GB PS3 Superslim which is supposedly 25% smaller and lighter than other PS3 SKUs, today the 12GB Version has been released, the smaller capacity Superslim uses Flash Memory instead of hard drives but you can still connect a hard drive via a sata link up. The price of the 12GB version is £159 according to Amazon UK who also have the 500GB version listed at £229.

Humans have reached the moon and are planning to return samples from Mars, but when it comes to exploring the land deep beneath our feet, we have only scratched the surface of our planet. This may be about to change with a $1 billion mission to drill 6 km (3.7 miles) beneath the seafloor to reach the Earth's mantle — a 3000 km-thick layer of slowly deforming rock between the crust and the core which makes up the majority of our planet — and bring back the first ever fresh samples.
