So what? Is it a bad thing to be paying attention to what you're doing?

That's your argument ? Going by that logic, resistive screens should be even better for you - you have to press each key Twice. So double the attention !

Not REQUIRING more attention simply means its EASIER & SIMPLER to use. When you want you can pay attention to whatever you feel like.

I have been trying to ditch BB since a year but neither my Nexus S nor iPhone4 are able to read mails with restricted forwarding (i get at least 3-4 every day) and even the encrypted/signed mails took me some time to get going (upload lotus notes private key). This issue may not be there on Exchange, but then its probably not possible to restrict forwarding etc at all on exchange/outlook like on Lotus

And its not possible to type on ANY touchscreen without looking at it all the time, with a BB you can steal a few glances every 4-5 seconds and keep typing !

But even bigger reason for me is that with a BB there's no temptation of wasting time with trying out a thousand apps & updating the OS ROMs etc. So its BB for work and Android/iOS for play for me. I use the Nexus for browsing sometimes while on the move for complex sites which won't open on BB (like some banks/trading sites etc)

For them it was unimaginable that there could be any significant doubt between the sex/gender as determined/perceived by them. So she was handled by male officers and then put along with male inmates in the jail.

Very correct. Real Problem as i mentioned in my comment above.

In fact the GUI on a windows/linux PC at home/office, through Teamviewer or VNC client, to control your tools/scripts is much more practical. If you are on a slow connection then just have some web front end to run all your possible scripts (try webmin to see how that works) and use the browser on any smartphone to run your scripts etc.

^ LinuxOnAndroid is pretty good if you want a chrooted linux running on your phone simultaneously with your Android. You run a vnc server to connect to the chrooted linux if you want the full gui desktop. Otherwise, you can just use the shell.

I have been using it on a Nexus S 4G since last 6 months. Nothing much to install. Just download the image (3-4GB) and use the app to run a script which sets up devices and does chroot. Or you can do that yourself on the android shell. And the developer Zac is quite responsive on XDA if you need help ( I have NO Relation to the Dev - just a happy user)

You can do almost anything you do on a linux box. Only problem i face is the soft keyboard on the nexus. NOT at all conducive to scripting though many key combos and Tab etc are there through vol up/down + a key. See a ScreenShotof the Soft Keyboard and how it takes up Almost ALL the screen ! Something with a hardware keyboard like the Motorola androids might be best for scripting etc.

Offcourse, if you want to play around with local devices or devices attached on USB host/otg etc of the phone, then you may prefer to run linux without chroot.

You are probably getting those hits from the few models whose manufacturer's were not preloading Google Play / Market due to initial issues. Currently, almost all good Allwinner A10 tablets have Google Play working and actually perform much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab etc.

I have got 5-6 of these A10 tabs from different manufacturers (for a retail project) and all except one are really good and cost below USD 100. Where they score above the branded ones are that all have a fully functional host USB unlike Samsung Nexus etc which advertise USB OTD but its really iffy. So you can connect a variety of peripherals and also run native ubuntu 12.04 nowdays. (earlier it was only the chrooted linux - see xda for details)

Offcourse, they don't have brand recognition and in fact some have such funny names embossed on them that you would feel embarrassed taking them out in front of anyone ! Allwinner A10 has done an excellent job in getting usable tablets for the low end of the market. The earlier ones like rockchip/via etc were completely unusable.

In fact a Lenovo x220 tablet would be quite good for this situation.

With a touchscreen supporting fingers as well as pen, and a twist and fold screen to get it into a tablet form factor, its great to use with Windows 8 (or even android x86 if you want) and serves as a laptop and a tablet both (only use for tablets i ever have is to browse web/media while lying down in front of TV - so not much issue with weight there)

And its got all the other hygiene factors - strong build etc. Only it doesn't have a optical drive - but I no longer use one and really don't know what people do with it ? watch movies on DVD or install software from DVD ? Isn't that almost always a download or it can be copied to a USB pendrive for those few occasions when you want to boot with it to install an OS

But if you want an optical drive you can go for a normal x220 - i think that has a optical drive option.

Reliance Media has an upcoming Movie release scheduled in 2 weeks.

This happens every time just before a new movie release. It'll be back to normal after that. The few other ISPs are probably going through Reliance. None of the other large ISPs have done this.

Its just to reduce the chance of a leak before the release, which has happened a few times in the past and is at times disastrous for the movie as it gets reviewed before opening day. Then if its good it gets downloaded a lot, while if its bad there's are less viewers turning up in theaters.
