It is AMD fanboy sour grapes. For some reason some people get really personally invested in their choice of graphics card. So when the other company comes out with a card that is substantially better than what their company has, they get all ass hurt and start trying to make excuses as to what it is bad. The nVidia fans did that back when the AMD 5870 came out and nVidia had no response. Same deal here. The GeForce 900 series are a reasonable bit faster than the AMD 200 series, and way more power efficient. At this time, AMD doesn't have a response, so the AMD fanboys are going on the defensive.

The real answer is, of course, buy the card that works best for your usage, which will vary person to person.

I hear they're bringing them shots right out to the trailer park now. The whole Cuyler clan got them shots, except Early, who said it was all a plot and no goddamn body's gonna give him any flu shot because he don't wanna catch the autism.

Damn Obama...

Did you see the stats for the growth of their middle class over the past 15 years or so?

I'm not disputing that the country is ardently capitalist and has tightly guarded elite circles. But for most people in there, that's not where they are aiming for. What they want is basically just comfortable living, and their standard for it is getting pretty close to what the West enjoys. And with every new generation, there are millions more actually enjoying it - even though there's still hundreds of millions locked out. But for now, the trend is good.

I understand the Ronald Legacy Project has preserved every pair of Depends that Ronald Reagan crapped in during his final two years in office. They'll never forget Reagan (which is more than Ronald Reagan could have said during his last two years in the White House, which, according to testimony to the commitUtee investigating Iran-Contra, he didn't remember a bit. I tended to believe him.).

I just want to point out that all of your citations are from before the enrollment deadline. I think your latest post was from April.

How about something a little more recent?

In fact, if you follow the website attacks on Obamacare based on the number of people enrolled, you will find a deluge of articles leading up to April of 2014 and then...silence. You'll still find other attacks, but none based on the number of newly enrolled. Then, in May, you see a lot of articles saying, "Well, OK, a lot of people enrolled, but how many actually paid?". And then, based on insurance company data, it turned out that the people signing up for exchanges actually paid at a higher rate than the general population signing up for health insurance.

There are good reasons to criticize the ACA, but the number of people who have gotten coverage for the first time because of the law is not one of them.

China circumvented that by arriving already at where the US is still heading: A rather small sliver of rich people oppressing a mass of poor ones, while at the same time ensuring that there is little upwards mobility, but just enough to create the odd success story to keep everyone believing in the dream.

That way you can effectively eliminate a middle class. But don't worry, the US is working hard to get rid of what's left of its middle class, then the two countries will be on par again.
