Windows itself takes the majority of the 32 GB SSD that comes with a Windows 8.1 tablet such as a Transformer Book, Aspire Switch, or older Surface Pro. I imagine that most people don't want to have to manually shuffle data between such a small internal SSD and an external HDD.

You'd be surprised at how many games have the same digital restrictions management BS in the game's dedicated server app that they have on the client.

Good luck running Visual Studio or Xcode on one of those. But I will grant that Android has AIDE, which might sub for Eclipse in a pinch.

They are shielded and tested before deployment. But no testing is 100% effective, ever. And EMI is a tricksy thing to test and shield against.

First off, the cockpit and other systems are not in an enclosed conductive vessel - they're part of the main fuselage, just like the passenger cabin. Second... the aircraft is not a Faraday cage, or at least not a very effective one as a broad range of frequencies can be received in the passenger cabin.

That's two sticks of butter. Also, the butter package is marked with lines, so you can see how many are in a T-spoon or whatever. Not saying I disagree that metric is nice for cooking, but these problems have been solved.
