Submission + - Microsoft to Patch Shortcut Vulnerability (technet.com)

bluhatter writes: Microsoft announced on its security blog today that they plan to release a patch out of their normal release cycle ( first Tuesday of every month ) to address the shortcut vulnerability discovered in mid July. This signals that Microsoft acknowledges the severity of this vulnerability. The patch should be rolled out August 2 at 10AM PDT.
